Today's little scene was just two and a half minutes long. This scene not only shown him appreciating her but more importantly it had given us an insight into just what is in Ahem's mind.
Ahem enjoyed openly admiring his wife when she came into the room to attend to his needs and she too willingly allowed herself to do the same. When compared to a recent time, when she brought tea for him while he was dressing for office one morning, he did not want her to stand like a statue and keep the tea on the table and show him where his bag was, he wanted her to give him those instead. On that day she did tell him that she will do this in future. Today she was two steps ahead of him and he shown his admiration and appreciation by pleasingly smiling on and telling her that his clients will be coming home in the evening.
When he reminds her of her two past misbeliefs after she held her sneeze, he was surprised that she was prepared to do so now. Just this tells us that Ahem had been observant and listened to all Gopi's words and actions in those 'dark days'. Can we assume that at that time he took on board her views and her actions only to continue to live in denial of everything to do with her? Or should we assume that he is really seeing her worth now and that it is all falling into place like a jigsaw puzzle?
He continues to edge closer to his wife. He has shown that he has memories of her stored away deep in his mind and that he does think of her a lot.

Fantastic analysis Swasthi, I always look forward to your take on a good Gohem scene.

Today's scene, once again short, but left us with more insights into Ahem's psych.

The change in him is even more visible now, he is easier to read these days.

First he strategically placed himself on the couch where Gopi usually stands, this makes him feel closer to her, and I think also, he has noticed the distance between her and the family, at times it seems as though she is standing alone on one side, while the family is on the other side. His eyes followed her as she moved towards the door, these days, when she is in the room his eyes automatically seek her, in the past he barely looked at her.
When she walked into their room and admired him, he sensed her and turned his head to watch and smile at her, in the past he would have scowled and turned his head in anger.
He was pleased that she anticipated his needs and took care of them without asking. Her saying "pleasure is mine" put another smile on his face. He loves the fact that she remembered what he taught her,
The first incident he recalled from Nagpanchmi, if I remember correctly, he was mad at her for some reason the night before, yet I was surprised that he remembered what she said on that day, so this tells me no matter how much he claimed to hate her, he paid attention when she spoke up and remembered too, but I am wondering if he remembered the other incident from Nagpanchmi, that day she saved his life, risking her own. Is this why he remembered what she said on Nagpancmi so well? Yes he pretended to thank her then pulled the carpet from under her feet for that incident, but now it makes me think, it affected him more than he let on at the time, and what he did that day was more out of anger at himself than her, for feeling something when she saved his life.

The Diwali incident, was when she was injured, so again it makes me wonder, if this is the reason he remembered what she said on that day so well.

Both of these incidents left deep impact on his heart I am sure, and this is why he remembers what she said on those two days so well.

I think we will see more of him recalling what she did and said in the past as he closes the distant between them. Looking forward to the day he finally closes the gap and breaks his silence.

Hey Swasthi --- After today I really want to see how does Ahem evolve...He seems to know everything about Gopi...he has missed nothing in the past...then what was it that effected him to react to her that way in the past...forget about appreciating her..,he never spoke to her...so what pulled him back !!! Im even more confused now...he seems to have taken it for granted that now that he is good so Gopi should also forget about the bad past & move on...I agree moving on is what they should do...but he also needs to remember that Gopi needs an explanation ...& ask her forgiveness...He has not even thanked her for saving his life frm the snake (nag panchmi has reminded me this 😲)
I also see they are moving to the next phase of their relationship where they are admiring each other...I think I saw a smirk on his face when he saw Gopi watching him at the door ...did u see or did I imagine it ??? Now Im even more worried for Ahem...We see him enjoying the goodness in the past proudly along with Gopi ...what will happen to him when the realty of him is thrown at his face...like him slapping her...throwing her out ...etc...how will he react to himself !!!!😕

@ Shilpa - Pleasure's mine.
Certainly so, these two incidents seems to have had an impact on him, one where he could have been hurt and in the other was where she got hurt.
We have seen him recollecting events on Diwali and now so we can anticipate further recollections. It will be interesting to see his reaction of his bad moments. Will he show regret?
