  • So I'm seeing lot of bashing posts about the show getting vulgar. There is a difference between vulgar and aesthetically shot scenes. To be fair, Star plus won't allow any Sexually explicit show to be shown on its channel.
  • Members need to realise to realize that there is a difference in the way Arnav feels about Khushi and Anjali. They have to show some physical tension and attraction between the leads. And may I add that they are doing it so beautifully .Kudos to the team.
  • Some uncomfortable (maybe mature) members bashing the show has led to other members bashing the tweens and teen members of the Forum which is again very illogical. Teens make up the majority of the Forum ,So lets not piss them off.So I apologize to teens who were offended.
  • Lets have a peaceful forum appreciating the hard work done by the team of IPKKND. 😊
P.S: Do not be jealous of Khushi cos she gets to romance Arnav 😛 . Its part of her job description. If the bashing about intimate scenes is cos of your personal green-eyed monster or because you are Barun,Sanaya, Mohit's fan then please realize the show is just a fiction and they are doing their job.

For those who are using the word loosely without knowing the meaning...

vulgar

Adjective:
  1. Lacking sophistication or good taste; unrefined: "the vulgar trappings of wealth".
  2. Making explicit and offensive reference to sex or bodily functions; coarse and rude: "a vulgar joke".

Great post and I agree Somzz. 👏

There is just too much unnecessary tension at the forum.

We need some peace.

It is not only teens who hate intimacy, aged ones also hate, my grandmom wont like intimate scenes showing in TV. She always complain that all this will missguide kids.
One more thing no one was descriminating anyone according to their age because age has nothing to do with maturity.
But my personal opinion is that kids below 15yrs must have to concentrate more on studies because it is more important.

I agree.. there has been no such content shown uptill now that should be counted as vulgarity!!

I guess people have different definitions for vulgarity!

i'll be turning 15 on November 11th, but my mom doesn't stop me from watching this show at all. To be honest, i'd rather prefer watching CW or TMZ but there are only few shows from Indian television industry that caught my attention. Not just because of the plot but also because they are showing every emotion and feeling of the character with maturity.

Honestly I don't see ANY PART of this show vulgar?? I mean where did the idea even come from??? Haven't we seen this like in every other TV show???
And this thing about too much intimacy??? I mean if its a romance-based show what are the leads supposed to do? play hide-and-seek and have a bunch of eye locks from like 10 feet away from one another?? It makes no sense! There have been plenty of YOUTH-BASED shows that have had physical closeness among the leads as a norm... To name a few, GEET, MJHT and DMG. So why do we suddenly think that ASR removing lights from Khushi is vulgar?? That their falling scenes show too much intimacy?

Actually I've got the answer... Most male leads don't OOZE hotness with just their stare. Unlike other TV male characters Arnav is a PURELY ANGRY YOUNG MAN with no sense of humor to him (although Khushi begs to differ to this lol)...His character just makes the romantic scenes THAT MUCH more intense and passionate. I don't think its the scenes necessarily that people are finding intimate, more so than the fact that Barun's portrayal of the character is just TOO PERFECT as the passion and intensity just speaks volumess from his eyes :) I bet that if some other actor did this scene ppl wouldn't think it was too passionate... And it just goes to show you just how great of an actor these two leads really are that they can emote SOO MUCH with the most innocent of scenes... :)
Personally, I've NEVER seen such a couple with this mix of passion, cuteness, intensity and SO MANY other factors all in one!! ArHi are really the true package and people would have to be out of their minds to call their scenes vulgar because from NO ANGLE does it look that way...

I don't think teens hate intimacy, I think they will be more inquisitive about the topic. But there are many matured ppl (20s ,30s) who think physical intimacy shown on TV is vulgar. So maybe they have to change their opinion and we shouldn't bash the teens cos we don't know who is writing these hate posts.
