Stars mourn Jagjit Singh's demise

The man who sang hundreds of ghazals and gave a new direction altogether to singing, left everyone lamenting. King of Ghazals - Jagjit Singh passed away this morning at the age of 70. And the whole nation is mourning his demise, including celebrities, who were sad for the huge loss...

It's a very sad news for all his fans. My mom, me and many people I know love his music. In fact, I got this terrible news from them in the morning. It's such a great loss. He was a legend. No singer will ever be able to match his charisma. May his soul rest in peace.

Yeh Daulat Bhi Lay Lo , Yeh Shorat Bhi Lay Lo!

Alas another ledgend passed away , for me he was one of the 4 best gazal singers till date, Mehdi Hassan, Ghulam Ali, Iqbal Bano and Jagjit Singh. His gazal selection was awsome, and he use to bring exactly the right amount of emotions of the poets in the gazal .

I have most of his gazals and Yeh Daulat Bhi Lay Lo , always always makes me cry like a baby.

May his soul rest in peace and Its a gr8 loss to music industry by sads demise of the legend Jagjit Singh...Yesterday only I n niks were talking about his song "Hothon se chu lko tum,mera geet amar kar do"...one of our Fav.
