THE DOBRIYALS
One of the oldest,richest,powerful and effluent families in Dehradhun.The atmosphere of this family was always filled with love and acceptance.This was one happy family until an incident almost 4 years ago took their youngest daughter Piya away from them and along with her went many other things.
ARNAB DOBRIYAL
He is Piya's biological father.A famous buisnessman.His family meant everything to him once upon a time but his life shattered on that certain day when he found out that his daughter had disappeared.He loved his youngest daughter Piya the most she was the apple of his eye and her dissappearance forced him into a certain way of life where he was no longer the same person he was once upon a time .First business was his passion now it was the only way to get out of reality.He is happy for his younger daughter Panchi and his grand daughter Pia.Pia reminds him of his daughter Piya.She was so much like her almost four years ago Piya had disappeared.The police said she might be dead but Arnab being the man he was never believed the word of what he considered "bullshit" there was still a spark of hope deep down his heart that said his daughter was alive.She was so much like Sugandh.. her mother.. his love.. just like her pia also accepted decisions thrown at her without a fuss .She accepted the decision of Panchi marrying Abhay without a second thought but at that time he was so blind to see how much it was killing her inside.He was blinded by his happiness for his elder daughter Panchi to note the hurt in his younger daughters heart and eyes.He knows Piya as a sweet generous,kind,lovely girl who accepts decisions without a second thought but if that is what he thinks he is about to get the shock of his life.
MADHU DOBRIYAL
She is a rolemodel mother,she has forgiven Arnab for his affair with Sugandh and she blames herself for it bacause she was the one who seperated them years ago and married Arnab.She has accepted Piya as her own daughter.She and her husband Arnab were once upon a time was under the illusion that Kunal accepted Piya.She still grieves for the loss of her daughter,she still doesnot understand why Piya dissappeared,if Piya loved abhay she could have called off Panchi's engagement but maybe she loved her sister more that she didnot want her engagement to break again.There's not a day or night Madhu doesnot remember Piya,she blames herself for Piya's disappearance.Piya was her perfect daughter .. not tomboyish like misha or like Panchi whose character she being her own mother couldnot understand.Piya was someone who she could trust,the one who cared for her family rather than herself... her perfect daughter.Madhu hopes her daughter will return.. She too like Arnab refuses to believe her daughter is dead.
KUNAL DOBRIYAL
He is the Dobrial brother,younger to Panchi and older to Misha and Piya,he never considered Piya as his sister.To him she was always the step-child.. the other womens child..his mothers "soutens" child.He never understood why Misha and Panchi accepted her.He hated Piya to syuch an extent that if he even saw her face in the morning he considered it as a bad omen.he always thought Piya was two faced .. after his dad's wealth hever never understood her nor did he try to but the day Piya left all of them slowly he started realising what effect Piya had on the family.She was the one who loved his dad.. his mom's perfect daughter..Misha's best buddy and Panchi's ... what not she had done and sacrificed for her.He slowly started understanding her .. how kind she was and despite the numerous times he taunted her ... she was always ready to give him another chance nor did she run to their parents complaining about his attitude towards her instead she let them believe everything was fine between them. She was the girl who used to cover up for Misha and Panchi and at times even for him but now she was not there she just disappeared... shattering everyone around.He watched as his parents lost their happiness..as his dad couldnot cope up with the loss of his daughter.. as Misha lost all here hope..As Panchi balamed herself for everything as Abhay and Panchi moved on with their lives .. when Panchi revealed she was pregnant... As everyone decided to name Panchi's daughter Pia.As little Pia returned a bit of the happiness back to the family... As the name Piya brought happiness and hope back to the family but still he missed his sister.. his little sister whom he treated so badly.. if he had a wish he would just wish that someone would return his sister and happiness back to the family.Only his little sister so that she could forgive him.. return happiness back to their family.
MISHA DOBRIYAL
She is Pia's sister... three months elder to her... a total tomboy.. she was Piya's best friend and first friend in Dehradhun.. The one who moved with her to Paris just so that Piya when she lost her memory so that she could move on in life.. the one who consoled her when Kunal taunted her.. her best friend her buddy... When she heard of Panchi's engagement to Abhay she was shocked.. what even shocked her more was that Panchi was pregnant right after her marriage and the thing that left her shell shocked was Piya's disappearance.. She was Piya's best buddy she knew her very well.. she evn knew that she loved Abhay and he was the only guy she kept remembering throught her state of partial amnesia.. but if she did love him why did she disappear..?? Misha has changed now she is not the same Mishoo... now she is not that tomboyish ... she dresses like a nomal girl because that was the last thing Piya requested her to do... To dess up normally..Pia's disappearance has left a huge impact on her life.. Misha helps her dad in buisness along with Kunal.. she tries to improve herself .. not to cause more pain to her family.. not to repeat mistakes.. she tries to cheer up her family .. to bring back the happiness in their lives and she adores her niece Pia who is just like Piya.. Misha wants her sister to return.. her best pal to return .. the girl to return who laughed at her not-so-funny-pjs.. the one who loved her.. who cared for her .. covered up for her.. she just wants her little sister to return...
