Pranlal reveals he tried to assassinate Gayatri Devi as his father's sacrifice was never appreciated. Dadda Chalukya fears Shobhna's life is in danger and accompanied by Gayatri Devi, rushes to the jail to question Pranlal. After learning that Pranlal's father's name was Maheshwarlal, the jailor informs Pranlal that his father didn't die during the war but was killed while he was guarding the armory. He also reveals to Pranlal that the king had sent compensation amount through Bhanuman. After learning about Bhanuman's treachery, Pranlal decides to reveal the truth. Bhanuman, meanwhile, is gripped with fear on being informed that Pranlal had agreed to confess after Shobhna helped him meet his mother. Bhanuman takes Shobhna away; however, his plan is foiled when he meets Dadda and Gayatri Devi. After learning about Shobhna's efforts, Dadda announces that Pranlal will reveal the truth in front of the mahapanchayat and his subjects. Bhanuman and Indumati are left terrified.
