What happened to Alesia?

Does anyone know what happened to Alesia?  Akshay made it sound like something really bad happened to her in her life.

I know.. I wondered the same. tried to research but didn't find anything..

she got married to a russian guy... and moved to russia... he physically abused her... stopped all contact between her and her family and friends... etc etc...
then her mother arranged for her to get rid of this guy... he even kept their son with him... she had to get him back thru the Indian embassy
