The hugging is very much a part of the Crime Patrol promo..It's not CID at all...Since the promos of the two shows have been combined the promo director has cleverly shown it in this way to trick us to grab TRPs. 😉

His haristyle is very much diifferent from that of Aditya sir & he is sporting light stubble which is unlike of Abhijeet.. plus his complexion is different as well

& This week's crime patrol is centered round the marriage of a girl so it fits in parfectly...
