THE POST MORTEM OF TODAY'S EPISODE




Hello friends! Hope you all are fine. Without wasting any further time of yours let me directly take you to the post mortem report (Review) of today's show how it started, how's the performances were and how everything executed.






The Primary Investigation (Introduction):

The starting was good but also simple. All the judges with their group singers introduced at first. But just then the drama began to start. One of Shreya's team member Mrs. Mona back out from the show because of the 3 months long show and missing of her daughter too much. Mark my word friends, she was such a contestant who somehow able to get a place in the top 12 but would never be able to cross the top 10 for sure and she is thinking of being here for 3 months very funny. Even she knew that this show will long last till that period why she even participated!!! Funny funny funny. All things indicate one point - Prescription. Forget about it. It's a very common fact. Just after that everyone asked then who will be the replacement of her and Shreya replied it's a secret and will reveal in time. Another stupid drama. Moreover the funniest parts were all the time the 3 judges were praising each other after every performances which made the whole show a comedy one rather than musical.

Performances:


First performance performed by Deewana Group of Sanjay Lee Banshali (SLB):

Song: Khaja Meri Khaja

Investigation Result:

Simply wonderful and awesome performance. But the problem is so far it seems they are very good only this particular genre of songs rather than other categorical ones which can certainly take them only up to a level but not the top one. Lets see how and what they perform in future.



Second Performance performed by Manjira Ganguly of Shreya Ghoshal's team:

Song: Chalka Chalka Re

Investigation Result:

To me it was just OK. Not so good and not so bad. But the way all the judges reacted it seems they just saw the greatest performance in the history of the musical show. Blah blah blah.



Third performance performed by Piyush of Sonu Nigam's team:

Song:Saawariya

Investigation Result:

No doubt Piyush is a wonderful singer and he has great potentialities but his today's performance was very average. And why because these sort of songs doesn't match with his heavy voice. These sort of songs always seems wonderful from a voice sounds like a smooth velvet.. Moreover Piyush has huge nasal problem while singing which he should rid off as soon as possible. The song choice is absolutely wrong for a contestant like him. Despite that the other judges were praising Sonu in such a manner which seems it's praising show rather than musical.

Fourth performance performed by Last Minute Girls of SLB team:

Song: Jawani Jaane Maan

Investigation Result:

Only one thing to say about this performance, very flat and average, just failed to deliver. But the the competition of praising the judges by others were still on. Very funny.


Fifth performance performed by Shourov Ganguly of Sonu Nigam's team:

Song: Aaja O' Meri Tamanna

Investigation Result:

Mind blowing performance. Simply fantastic. Without a doubt he is one of the top one may claim to win the first X-factor India show.



Sixth Performance performed by Amit Jadhav of Shreya Ghoshal's team:

Song: Mein Aisa Kiu Hoon

Investigation Result:

Amit is one of my fav contestant and probably among the very few who can really win this show. He is also a very good stage performer. But on going through today's performance I would like to say he just ruined it. Basically instead of him I wanna blame Shreya for such a cheesy song choice. The singing was worst but the dancing was really good.




Final report (Verdict):

To me so far it seems a judges praising show rather than a musical show (Except few cases). Gosh Simon Cowel is completely unknown of such standards of judges and drama of the show otherwise his situation would be like the below pic.

Omg this show becomes a praising show...how each judge r praising themselves ----- dekne layak tha...

M ganguly sings so bad but judge makes her cloud at nine...
Piyush sings sawariya song in new sur/taal combination ...firbi tareefe mili ---wow...
In today's show there is no bhul everything perfect acording to judjes view...

Grouping songs r murdered by the groups specialy -- the last minute makes the song into pieces.
Khawaja song was okshokay...
Rest r good but not fabulous...

Hmm but aditya's anchoring was good---no doubt...

Choreography is also ok.

Shourov Gangulay of Team Sonu ji was de Best by FAR.
Kolkatta is always magical generally.

You are most welcome but as you yet to see the episode my personal request will be not to see it if ya are an extreme music lover but for comedy just go for it.

It was more like the mentors have brought out the worst of their proteges, than polishing them. Quite a few bad song selections.

I also do not what is the end towards which these contestants are working. In India the culture of private albums is simply not there, unless people bring out remix albums. US and UK, the music industry exists independent of the movie industry - so there a show like this could be successful. But in India at best a singer can hope for is to be given a chance for playback singing. So why are Shreya and Sonu asking their proteges to clone them. Why sing songs that Shreya and Sonu have sung. It should be other songs which showcase the talent and range of the contestants. Sadly, that was lacking here.

The two group performances - again I would've liked the girls to have sung something like Main Chali, Main Chali from Padosan, to bring out their range and variation, here it was simply a solo song being sung by a group of girls, and not much improvisation done to the music to really showcase the singers. Khwaja mere Khawaja again was a wrong selection, they showed much better variation adn improvisation in the song that they sang in Goa auditions. I would've liked something like the Main Hoon Na kawaali from them, if it had to be that genre. But seriously, I do not see the groups being able to make that emotional connect with the audiences that solo singers can, so no idea what is the future plan for the competitors.

Very well said just apart from some points. What so ever it's not a big fact. The future of this show is on going through till now is very bad and perhaps may not see it's second season next year as there's a chance, Simon Cowel will close this show from this particular part.

Summer Bhai, now a days it's almost seems majority of the musical talents are raising from Kolkatta.
