Part one:

"AROHI!!! AROHI PUTTAR!!!  KITTE HAI TU?" yelled Amrit Kaur.

"Kya ma.. kyun itna chila rahi hain? Remember, aj Arohi ka final day hai... Graduation Rehearsals ka. Vahan gayi hai" Rajveer said, breathless.

" O haan... par itni der.. usse tho vapis aa jana chahiye tha na? Ab pehle batati tho medicine time pe deti..  mere tho khyal se bhahir that yeh baat." 

Just then, Arohi enters. " sorry mama... mein late hogayi.. bhai ko kya hua. rajveer, tumne medicine nahi li kya? come on you have to be more responsible!" yelled arohi.

"Responsible? who are you to tell him about responsibility when you can't even take care of your own responsibility. Why did you tell us you'd be late! Koi kaam ki nahi hai yeh ladki!" and she walks away to make salan(food).

"Yeh ma bhi na.. kabhi nahi sudrein gi!  come on rajveer. And please, take your meds on time. What are you going to do when I am not here?" said Arohi caring for her brother.

"Arohi.. main jaanta hoon, tum hamesha mere saath ho. Tu Edinboro bhi jaaye gi na, tab bhi roz phone karegi.. bhai, tune medicine le li?" laughed Rajveer.

Just then Arohi got lost in thought. 

Am I being unfair to my family by going away so far? How will they survive without me? And Rajveer.. he will be so alone. Am I being selfish?

Just then Rajveer claps. " Kahan kho gayi thi Chutki." a pet name given to me..

"Nothing bhaiyya. I should go make roti's before I get yelled at again. Raj aata hoga aur uski bhook tho sab jaante hain.." and they both laugh.

Raj was finally back and we set the table. We sat down to eat and the phone rings. 

Arohi: yaar, ye phone ko bhi abhi hi aana tha? 

Sudhir: Beta, pehle caller ID dekho, phir phone utao..

Arohi: Ji dad.   

I look and see its out of area. That's usually Canada or India so i pick it up.

A-Hello

Caller- Hello.

It's a deep voice, sexy even. I don't recognize it so wonder who it can be. 

Caller- Maasi hain?

A- excuse me, who's maasi. 

Caller- Is this the right number? (he repeats the number)

A: Yes, but who is this.

Caller- GIve it to maasi please.

A: Excuse me, there is notbody by the name of Maasi in this house okay!

BEEP: He hung up.

Amrit: Kaun tha beta? 

A: Pata nahi ma, Naam nahi bataya.

Amrit: At least put the phone back!

A: Nah, he's going to call back..

The phone rings. A: See. Now lets try this again

I'll try to update soon but this week is hectic. i'll try tho. thank you to all for encouraging me. does anyone know how to make a pm list? is there a way to make a list or do we have to check mark each person each time...till  i get an answer, please add me if u want a pm.. thats the easiest way i know...thanks for reading and please comment:D
