There is a certain way in which the nawabi Khan carries himself - cool,charming, casual...all that and more. But if he wants to, the man can be so inconspicuous that you can look straight at him and still not see him sitting quietly there. But last week, thanks muchly to our observant stars, we spotted the man (casually dressed in neon green shorts) - and let's warn you, he wasn't solo. But before your eyebrows rise heavenwards in astonished query, the truth is that it was a charmingly 'family' setting; minus ex-wife Amrita, of course.
Saif was at a suburban five-star hotel with his elegant mother, Sharmila Tagore, and his two kids, Sarah and Ibrahim. And believe us, the kids were a handful - bustling with energy and dashing all over the place – even wanting to play music on a grand piano in the hotel landing. But even while Granny sat and smiled her dimpled smile, Saifu seemed to be enjoying every minute of the bonding.
And we must say, the Khan managed to do a great job, keeping up with the bachchas and keeping them engrossed and entertained (of course he had to run amok all over the lobby, trying to keep them in sight).
