I think that is what it means at least I hope so😊...but I think what should be shown is that without the backup of his family which he has till today taken for granted and treated badly...that is what will be the shock to his system...at present he is only thinking of himself...a time will come when he needs that moral support and family backing...and that is what should be amplified properly.
