undoubtedly Mohd. Rafi. Listen to his songs through a head phone. All the songs were recorded without any technical gimmicks.He was very melodious and fluent in rendition. I will only give three examples: aanchal mein saja lena kaliyan, insaan bano, abhi na jaao chodke, there are innumerables of such gems.

kya kar rahe ho yaar? rafi-ji aur kishore-da ko aaj kal ke singers ke saath mat compare karo, those 2 dudes are in a league of their own... i admit the singers of this generation are extremely talented but the level rafi sahab and kishore-da are on is just unatainable for the singers of today even the singers themselves will admit to that!

what do you guys think of the song like jo khat tujhe?

I feel, its a simple song compared to other rafi songs but still the emotion is present in the song and it still it moves me

Kavita is just TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good:> my vote is always for her... If chitra was on the list then, i would hav given her a vote too, but undoubtedly kavita is much better:>
