I have seen singers sing the same song in differents keys and styles and it sounded good.
Normally a man's song has to be adjusted for ladies to sing.

well, i'll post the song i record a couple of months ago. i was sick when i did this:

it's not good at all. πŸ˜† i sing better in western classical according to my voice teacher in high school,. but i don't know if she said that b/c that was her forte in singing too. πŸ˜†

You don't have to change the key. Just match the male pitch.

which is too low when i sing the female part.
like when i sing the female part an octave lower, it matches the male part. but some parts are too low

I can't sing pretty low, and i can't sing pretty high. I have pretty useless voice. πŸ˜† 

The weird thing is though, when I sing western classical pieces, i can sing quite high very easily, but in Indian songs it doesn't turn out the same. πŸ˜†
