Hi All,

After a long time I decided to hold a 'Write a scene' contest. Those who are not aware of this, pls view a previous 'Write a scene' contest thread here... https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/1533076. The tinypic images are deleted but I am sure you can get an idea of what it is.

Rules:

1. Please do not quote other's post.

2. Participants please post the ENTRY number on top of your entry. First person writing a scene will number his/her scenes as 'ENTRY 1' and so on.

3. If you like a scene, please hit 'like' and kindly avoid commenting till the contest is over.

Last date for posting entries - Monday

Voting - Tuesday and Wednesday

Results - Wednesday evening.

Please QUOTE this post, delete my message and then write your scene. Some people are having difficulty in posting the images.

You can send more than one entry. Please number the scenes. I hope this requires no explanation!!!

The scene should connect all three caps. This is compulsory.

This is not a very serious contest that we need to conceal the participants' names. It's for fun and I have no time to receive individual PMs, post them and conduct votes by secret ballot, hence it's an open contest. Just relax and post your entries.

Entry 1

😃 my first attempt at scene contest😃

pic 1-

Abhijeet- Daya, Acp sir abhi tak nahi aaya. Phone karke bataaya ki ek bada baat hai. Tumhe kya lagta hai?

Daya- Boss. Suna hai kissi ka promotion ho raha hai.

Abhijeet- Accha? Kisska?

Daya- Woh mujhe maaloom nahi hai...

Freddy (coming in)- Daya sir, Abhijeet sir!

Abhijeet (not seen in pic, stunned)- Yeh kya Freddy? Suit mein?

Freddy (grabbing hold of Daya's hand)- Sir mera promotion ho gaya hai!

(Daya just looks stunned, still shaking hands....)

pic 3-

(Later, after everyone congratulated Freddy, the team goes to forensic lab. There Tarika goes forward)

Tarika- Freddy sir congratulations!

Freddy- Thank you thank you very much!

Tarika- Aapka wife kya kaha?

Freddy- Unko mein aaj shaam mein bataaongi! Aaj valentine day hai na!

Tarika- Haan, perfect gift!

Freddy- Thank you thank you!

Yes, you have to write a scene which connects the 3 pics.

It's my first attempt also:-

Daya- Abhijeet, keya baat ho sakti hai? ACP sir ne humein is tarah gharpe kyun bulaya?

Abhijeet- pata nehi Daya! main bhi yehi soch raha hoon. suna hai, government ki kisi bohot hi secret project ke kaam ke liye hum dono ko bhejna chahte hai ACP sir!

Daya: tumhe kaise pata?

Abhijeet: ACP sir phone par baat kar rahe the DIGsir se, tabhi mainne suna.

At Bureau:-

Daya:- arre Freddy, keya baat hai? aj suit mein?

Freddy:- sir, aj humari marriage anniversary hai. shamko gharpe party hai, aapko aur Abhijeet sirko toh zarur ana padega!

Daya:- oh, sorry Fraddy, par hum nehi aa sakte. humein ek bohot zaruri kaampe jana hai. Bhabijiko humari tarafse congratulations kahena.

Freddy:-it's ok sir. (and shakes hand with him).

Dr. Tarika:- arre Freddy, aap yahaan? aapke gharpe toh party hai na aj?

Freddy:- woh party cancel kar diya mainne. jab Daya aur Abhijeet sir nehi aayenge, toh party deneka keya matlab!

Dr. Tarika:- par aapke gharwale keya kahenge?

Fredy- yeh CID team bhi toh meri family hai na! aur apne koi bhi family member ke bager main kaise khusiyan mana sakta hoon?

Entry 3 (thinking reserved entries as first two entries)

Daya: Abhijeet kya soch rahe ho.
Abhijeet: soch raha hoon aisi kya baat hui.
Daya: kyun aisa kya hua.

suddenly from behind

Freddy(in suit): hello sir.
Daya shakes hand and is shocked.

Freddy says hello to Abhijeet and leaves
Abhijeet: ab pata chla kya hua.

Daya: Kal shaam ko akhri baar Freddy Tarika se mila tha tab tak to theek tha.
