Kapil grew up in the historical town of Jaipur, Rajasthan. He's already done his post-graduation in marketing and has worked in the corporate world for almost a year and a half.

However, his inclination was always towards acting.In his home town, he used to host a show for a local channel and for some time he also worked in Doordarshan. Besides that, he has also won the AXN Extreme Award by standing as representative for India.

Kapil found his first big break on television with his debut show Shakira which aired on Bindass TV. Here he played the character of a police man called ACP Abhay.

Kapil portrayed the much loved role of Kunwar Yudhishtir in the daily Star Plus show  called Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (from 2008-2010). With this show, Kapil's dream of making it big in the tele world started to come true. The show has gained him a lot of popularity and the love of his life, Anjali Abrol.

Kapil once aspired to be in the army (you definitely look the part) but unfortunately he flunked his maths paper twice so he later dismissed the idea. Now his next step is to hit it into Bollywood. His list of favourite actors include: Amol Palekar, Naseeruddin Shah, Salman Khan for his personality and Aamir Khan for his acting. Out of music, Kapil likes to listen to Punjabi and Indian music.

Being a fan of the Rajasthani cuisine, Kapil loves daal-bati and choorme ke laddo. Out of sweet, he is crazy about Rasgullas and always makes it a point to bring back at least 4-5 kilos whenever he visits home.

Not many know that he has won the Mr Jaipur title and silver medal in best body building......










Pics from the show Shakira where Kapil essayed the role of ACP Abhay Singh.....this role of the dashing poilce inspector gave him the opportunity to fame as soon he got a call from the producers of the show Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat...and the rest is history.....














Here are the pics of the role that shot him into the limelight...... the role of Kunwar Yudhishtir Shishodiya popularly called as Yudi from the star plus hit show Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat....  here he played a prince who did not desire to fall in love but destiny made him love someone so insanely....here we saw all the transitions to his character from a dutiful son... he moved on to play a true lover....to a supportive husband & brother... and lastly a loving father....between all these phases he also got a chance to play a simpleton and later a revengeful cameo of Narayan.....








































































This pic below displayed the agony of a man who is shattered seeing his wife's breakdown when she is told that she can never become a mother but hides his pain from her.....  but is unable to hold back the tears when his mother approaches him.....even God could not bear to see him way as despite all miseries they were blessed with a daughter.....  in this scene Kapil sure outdid all his previous acting peformances.....









"Kapil surely made himself being the cutest and jolliest and friendliest papa to his on-screen girl even though it was for a short time. Why, in one episode , you will see him having more fun with a remote controlled car while playing with the girl.....we all want to play with our daddies and vice versa......thats what that scene proved........"
























He has also done a small guest appearance in the show Tere Liye as a part of Kaali celebration......

Star Parivaar Awards 2008 pics.....













Kapil also participated in the season 4 of Nach Baliye along with his onscreen cum offscreen sweetheart Anjali Abrol..... they were known to be the sweetest couple and also referred to as the crowdpullers by TB......  They were popularly called as "Dark Horses" and were among the top 4 contestants....They are fondly called by their fans as "Kanjali".... With every performance, they proved that they were here to show the world that they are in race too. Completely being from non-dancers, they started their journey slowly but gradually carved themselves into judges as well as audience's heart....


































Their love was so much evident that they were awarded the Much In Love couple award











Kapil was also a part of Valentine special 2009 -Love ne Bana di Jodi.....

Here Kapil won the Favourite Bhai Award..... and Kanjali performance turned out to be the best performance for the evening..... they danced to the tunes of Guzaarish,Maahi,Tere Naina
