Understood jyo, but whatever be it... U just cannot forget ur parents just like that... Had they shown geet's resent towards her family, or her not remembering them, then it would have made sense... Also during the HP revisit, geet was shown pining for her parents n hopping that one day all will be well... So it justifies her missing her family...

If not her parents, she is bound to miss rajji n tito...

There is no one who can take the place of parents. Does not matter how they parted the last time or Mann called the outhouse her home ... (Me loved that dialogue : ghar chale Geet, the best dialogue till date for me), the girl will always crave for her real home, and remember and miss her parents.

Geet does not detest her parents. She knows that they were cowards and helpless. It is not in her nature to bear a grudge against anyone. It is natural for a 18 year old girl to remember her mother at her wedding.

no one can ever take the place of the people for whom you are in this world. Geet's parents gave birth to her...so the parents cannot forget her and Geet is in this world because of them and she cannot forget them...maybe they were wrong but no person in this world can ever fill the gap of a parent in ur life.

Jyo.....Geet has never been the one to harbour grudges. And these are her parents afterall. Its completely natural for her to remember them especially now when she's getting married.
