Sherwood College

Dear Friends,

I am back!! Well it is sad my vacation is over but it is always good to be back, I indeed missed you a lot!! I will write about my trip and post a lot of photographs but before that let me share a bit of it with you today....

Amongst other places I visited Nainital, the famous hill resort of the Himalayas....in Nainital there is a school known as Sherwood College and do you know who all studied there...yes Big B, Kabir Bedi, Dilip Tahil and our very own Ram Kapoor. On reaching Nainital we realised that one of our known person works in Sherwood College in the Arts Dept...we called him up asking if he would show us the school, he was delighted and we went up..On reaching there he started giving us a round, amongst the abovementioned personalities there are a lot of men who joined the armed forces and made India proud...as he was showing us around he narrated 2 years back when Big B visited the school, 50 years after he left. He came with his whole family and how he went hugging around his old friends. He even recognised one of the peons from his time, who has retired and lives near the premises..how humble and down to earth he his, our friend exclaimed....then he opened the 'Link Room' for us, the room contained ex students who have made the school proud...of course Big B is most prominent, old photographs of him acting in school plays etc also displayed....alongwith him Kabir Bedi and Dilip Tahil....I asked our friend about Ram Kapoor, he did not seem to know him but said there was another guy called Vivek Mushran who is not that successful, works in serials I heard, he concluded.... well I was indeed a bit sad but then realised Ram still has a long way to go, I am sure with a few more meaty roles (he will need a bit more than what he did in Udaan) he will make it to the 'Link Room' of his old school next to his 'alma maters'....

This is real sad 😭, but hopefully someone from Sherwood College see what you've written and
take the opportunity to find out about Ram Kapoor and his accomplishments in the arts and acknowledge him.
