Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has received a threatening letter from an anonymous person, police said on Thursday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Bandra region) Amitabh Gupta said that the star had received the anonymous letter a month ago and had informed the police.

"The issue does not appear to be serious and we are not investigating the matter," he said adding the police had earlier checked the matter thoroughly.

Asked if there was any underworld element involved, Gupta refused to comment saying "I have nothing more to say about the matter."

i read in the newspaper that this dude named Abu Salem is trying to kill slamn khan, priety zinta, sharkush khan, and other producters/actors. When Kaho Naa Pyar Hai came out Rakesh ROshna became faous and so Salem called up Rakesh Roshna and asked him for $ but Rakesh ROshna refused and ABus Slaem tried shooting him, but it hit his driver and his shouler. SO MAYBE NOW HE IS TRYING TO KILL AAMIR KHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😭
