22nd Oct-Written Update (Mission Mami)

Shravan sees from his tent that Mama is leaving for the office. He decides to take action right that moment to start impressing Mami.
Mami, Sanchi, and Shreya are in the kitchen:

Shravan: Mami!
Mami: Shravan? How did you come inside? If Inderji(mama) sees you.... you go back to your tent!
(Sanchi listening to the conversation)
Shravan: Mama's gone to work. Let me help you today in the kitchen.
Mami: No, I don't need any help. You just go back.
Shravan: But I am going to help. Relax. Last night, I was thinking that you do so much work. You must also feel at times that someone should help you out. Hence, I decided to do all your work today.
(Meanwhile, he starts making dough for rotis. Adds too much water)
Mami: However, I will make rotis. Everyone eats at home. You've added extra water.
Shravan: Extra? Well, we can add more flour (atta).
(He adds more atta to the dough. Mami and Nani horrified seeing this)
Nani (to herself): I hope he doesn't end up making things worse.
Mami: (in high-pitch) SHRAVAN!!! Son.. Can I do the rest?
Shravan: (hands dripping with dough) but I helped you out, right?
Mami: Lots! (with a helpless expression)

Mami later come out on the balcony/patio to dry the clothes on the railing. Shravan comes there too and decides to help out again.
Shravan: Mami, I'll do this too.
Mami: You're here again!!
(Sanchi is passing by in the back and stops after seeing them)
Shravan: (while hanging clothes) You know I don't have a mami. I've always wanted a mami since childhood who I would take care of. You do so much work. How do you find time for yourself?
Mami: Myself? All my time is dedicated to my family.
Shravan: You're great!
(He drops a couple of clothes on the floor. Mami says we can't hang them now as we'll have to wash them again. Shreya goes to Sanchi)
Shreya: Didi, you still won't call this love?
Sanchi doesn't reply and leaves.

Mami is sitting with her head in her hands on the dining table (tired with Shravan's "help").
Shravan: I like seeing you so relaxed. What else can I do?
Mami: (sweet scared expression) You want to help out more? Ok.. go to market and buy me vegetables. Here's some money and bag for you. Now go!
Shravan: What should I buy?
Mami: Potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants(brinjals), masala, cauliflower, cabbage, ginger.
Shravan: (repeats the list to make sure, starts to leave but comes back) Can I get a sample of each? I mean I don't know what these things look like. I can only tell after they're cooked.
(Sanchi is reading a magazine and rolls her eyes)
Mami: Shreya, you go with you jiju and help him out.
Nani: How can she go? She has tuitions.
Shreya: (catching on to nani's plan) Yes, I have tuitions. Ok bye!
Mami: Sanchi, you go with him then.
(Sanchi hides her face in the magazine)
Nani: Why are you hiding? (starts blackmailing sanchi by telling Lord Ram & Sita's story)
Sanchi: (exasperated) Ok fine I'll go.

(In the market)
Shravan is confused seeing all the different varieties of vegetables in the market. Sanchi and Shravan get into an argument about how Shravan is in this situation today because of sanchi. Sanchi tells him to buy the vegetables by himself and leaves. (Readers.. nothing that serious)
Shravan is even more helpless now. He goes to a vender and asks if he can buy all the vegetables from him. They start negotiating the price.

Shravan comes back home with about 15-20 bags full of vegetables only. Mami and Nani are shocked to see this.
Mami: What will I do with all these?
Shravan: Party. (then gets serious) To tell you the truth, no one ever told me to do anything for them. They never considered me worthy or repsonsible enough. I guess its not their fault either but I want to try. Thanks for giving me the chance.
(Adi comes home and is also shocked. Everyone starts laughing)
Mami: Shravan, you have won my heart!
(Shravan winks at nani. Sanchi goes into her dream mode where shravan and her are lying on the bed and he's touching her cheeks. Then she comes back to reality and thinks what is this happening to her. She's even dreaming in the daylight)
Shravan (to Sanchi): Nani's on my side and so is Mami (almost). I will convince Babu and mama pretty soon too. You should start packing your bags.

(Mama and Babu come home and are angry when they find out that Shravan brought all this. But mami says this is the first time her son-in-law has done something for her and she's very proud. Nani is happy hearing that.)

Sanchi goes to her room and is sitting at her desk. Mami comes in.
Mami: Sanchi, Shravan may have made mistakes earlier but at this time, he's trying to rectify that. Its a wife's duty to stand by her husband all the time.
Shreya: Mom, what about didi's pain?
Mami: you keep quiet. this is a wife's duty. she has to happily endure everything for her husband. and you should keep alert too. we'll start looking for a boy for you too in a few days.
(to Sanchi): ok tell me, when people start coming to see shreya and ask us what is your elder daughter doing here at her maternal place, what will we answer them?
(Mami leaves)
Shreya (to sanchi): Didi, you don't worry. please do whatever you think best.
Sanchi: No shreya. mami's right. It has always been like this. I should go back with Shravan.

thx for the update...i want saachi to return with shravan but only because shravan has convinced her and she wants to return not because she is being forced to return because of emotional blackmail.
