MAANEET - GENTLE WHISPERS! THREAD 1

"After so many hurdles and sorrows, finally, I can be with Maan Sir''at peace'.with ease'.no more hiding feelings'.no more playing hide and seek!!! Dev, for the sake of his brother, went away to Canada'not to forget, with Naintara, with his share of property'..to be precise 33% of the total!!!!

                  He met me before departing & relieved me of my past! I feel so calm and light'..but hey Babaji'kya yeh khushiyan jo aap mere aanchal mein daal rahe ho'.use mein zindagi bhar sametkar rakh paoongi????"

     Writing these lines, Geet closed her diary and placed it in the rarest corner of her cupboard where no one knew about  except her!!! She was still not sure as to how things have become so much better'.so musc easier'.was it a lull before a storm???

             Her chain of thoughts were broken by a series of knocks at the door of her room which was still in the outhouse of The Khurana Mansion! She was first startled by the sudden lud knocks'.her eyes looked for the wallclock'.it was a quarter-past-eleven at night.

Geet wondered who could that be  at this hour of the time! As she lingered, knocks turned into bangs'..it felt as if someone was desperately wanting the door to be opened.

Nervous, she slowly opened the door only to find Maan Singh Khurana'..ready to break open the door if it wasn't opened in the next 5 seconds!!!! Before she could say anything, Maan entered her room and looked at her crossly.

"Geet , if you'll take this long to open a door then I wonder whats going to happen to MY future???"

"Who….mein…..Sir….aa…aap…yahan…itni raat…kisi bhi ladki ko jo akele rehti ho…use darr to lagega hi na Sir", stammered Geet. At this Maan broke into a fit of anger…he looked at her with his beautiful yet scary eyes and started moving towards her!!! Geet didn't understand as to why Maan got angry at such a small thing! She had also started moving backwards, involuntarily!!!!

                        "Geet…..Maine tummhe kitni baar kaha hai ki don't call me sir! But you never understand anything easily do you??"

Geet's back hit the wall…Maan only a few inches away from her….she was cornered!!!!!!!

"woh…….woh…mein…kaise…."

"shut up Geet …call me Maan and not Sir…do you get it???"

"yes sir!"

"Maan….only Maan!"

"Ji….Maan sir!"

Maan could not say further as he knew she couldn't do it….she was so much acquainted with calling him "sir" that now it has become nearly impossible for her to change! He noticed Geet feeling a bit uncomfortable. She was looking down…her big eyelashes covered her innocent brown eyes and at once Maan was so smitten by her simplicity that he forgot all his anger!!!

              He held her chin gently with his long fingers! Geet tried to avert her eyes but Maan had lifted her head enough to make her look directly into his eyes! And once again he fell in love with her eyes…..the innocence that flowed from them……her serenity!!

"Tum poochogi nahi Geet ki mein iss waqt yahan kyun aaya hoon??", Maan asked her with a gentle whisper.

" Ji…??" Geet was so lost in his eyes that she was completely clueless about the question thrown at her.

Maan's other hand that rested on one of her shoulders gently slid downwards…..making her feel a soothing current gushing right from her shoulders…..down her arms….to her hands….and finally entwining around her fingers!!! Maan's eyes waited for her reaction…….but Geet, this was making her body hot enough!!! She couldn't do anything but to respond in positive. Her fingers slowly started to entwine Maan's fingers….her body was getting even hotter!!!!!
