Okay, so I saw the repeat and my views have changed on Dev after seeing the episode again. I still hate Dev, hate him to the core for what he did to a poor 18 year old. But at the same time, for once in the entire serial, I thought he wasn't being selfish. For once, he put Maan before his own happiness, for once ! The only reason I thought Dev wanted Maan to know before the engagment is cause he thinks Maan is oblivious to Geet and his past, and that Geet is oblivious to Maan and Dev being brothers (which she is). And Dev probably thinks that Maan is entering into all this without knowing the full truth, and hence calling upon dissapointment and heart-ache.
Yes, the only wrong was when he was going to spill the truth infront of everyone, that would just de-shame Geet infront of everyone. So, I think... for once, Dev is doing something for someone else, atleast thinking about someone else.
Though, I agree with you, he is so not needed, he really should go away with his 'Myra'. 😆 And he put it extremely rightfully in Friday's episode: 'Maine sabki zindagi kharab kar di' So true Dev, so true.
Aaaliyaaa !! Maan can't do bhangraa ! Hahaha, I was laughing when he was doing it. He can sure do western styles, but bhangra, no no no [ROFL]
