i felt so bad for karma sherpa, what a nasty remark only in india do people get away with this. no wonder there are so many insurrections in north east as long as typical hindi mentality is to make fun of other regionals whether it be that tamils are dark or nepalese/assamese have less round eyes ,punjabis are not as intelligent, or bengalis are reserved, or gujus are cheap skates,etc...
apologise salman to karma and shame on judges for laughing at karma

I think he meant it as a joke but it is also possible it could be misconstrued. So maybe the remark went in a way not intended by Salman.
Well let bygones be bygones. I think Karma himself took it as a joke.

He was just saying in good spirit and we should not be too sensitive about everything.

Salman was sporting when he got whacked by Suganddha he took it in good spirits too.

I dont think Salman made that comment to hurt him , it was just made in a good spirit and not in an insulting tone , so I think its ok but I don't think now they should drag that joke ahead in every episode of the show (as some shows do that!) :) That would make it insulting !

i think the comment is always considered in "good spirit" or "funny" when it is not about yourself :)

...... i agree that salman meant no malice but the truth is that for people in the north east, comments like these are hurtful ...... They absolutely hate it .......

We are a racist society as a whole so we don't think its a big deal to call a dark skinned person ugly or make jokes about the so called "chinky eyes"

try making fun of a black man's colour in any other country in the world .... no matter how nicely or sweetly you may say it .... no matter how much fun you intended ..... the backlash will make your head spin

its not making a mountain out of a molehill ..... whats wrong about being sensitive to other people - their cultures, their religion , their inherent characteristics.
