As a little girl I remember watching Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan and loving each an every song in it. Ravindra Jainji really did a fantastic job there. Some vids to bring back memories:

Thanks for remembering Ravindra jain ji, he is one and only.

Nearly all of his songs are raag based which demonstrates his firm grounding in Indian classical. I like all of his songs .

Current musicians should take a lesson from him, despite getting low budget and B Grade movies he churned out GREAT music.

We love you Ravindra sir..!

I adore his song from Ram Teri Ganga Maili-
...jane lagi jaan jaldi aana tu dobara...Sahiba...kya harkat li hai Lata ji, this song is a complete song in itself.
