The day they started showing some Love angle between Maan n Geet, they introduced this Mahii ... Mavi ve Mahi Mahi Ve... background score.

I'm sure its just me who'z not a fan of Mahi Ve Music... specially when the male singer yells on top of his voice ... MAHIIIIIIII .... Saare scene ka charm chala jaata hai... Or maybe I keep the volume too high .. 😆 ( I cannot afford to miss any dialogue).. that when the singer shouts Mahiiii... my eardrums starts complaining 😛

But jokes apart, I loved the old background score, the one they played tonight in the opening scene where Geet falls off from that ladder.. and Maan saved her from falling. It has that "Dard" wali feeling .. or whatever feeling it has 😆 .. But I like it more than 'Mahi'.

I agree that when they'll be showing the love angles, old one wont suit ... but they can use it now n then.. whenever Geet feels sad or hurt by Maan's words.. like tonight... Maan obviously wont stop hurting her. 🤔

Viewers like to watch Love scenes more than Sad scenes. But here I like sad bg score more than this Mahi one.

You guys must be loving Mahi Ve... or.. the old one?

actually i m also not a fan of the mahi ve... prefer the old one .. . actually love the old one ... which heightened my enjoyment of the fall scene today 😊

I love the old one too, but the extended version of Mahi music has grown on me...So I like both! And like someone said in the post, it depends on the situation.

Chalo koi toh hai. The day Mahi ve was introduced.. everyone became a fan of it. I was hesitating to post coz of that. 😆

But when they showed it today... I was sure that I dnt love Mahi ve... and love the old one. 😃

Although Mahi is nice... but not great. I'd prefer old one... if the scene had 1 bit of sadness in it.

Yep, the extended version and the instrumental part of Maan's bg music is good too.

But I dnt like the starting... Mahiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii .. Aisa lagta hai logon ko neend se jagane ke liye use kar rahe ho.. CV's should know.. ki Geet dekhte huye koi nahi so sakta. 😛

i know where ure coming from...
though i like Mahi n it has its own charm for me i luved the vibe the old one gave...like u said tht 'dard' wala feeling, a sort of chill used to go through me lol
in fact for the first few times mahi was used i kept thinking "oh plz plz dont stop using the old one"😆
it has so much more intensity while mahi is more softly romantic...

I disagree hun, both of these cant be compared! Why?

1. The old music was also one of the reasons why I started liking Maneet, it made them totally different from the rest of the couples & their sweet music, it was thora hatke so i enjoyed it to the max, I have downloaded around 10 versions of it on my mp3 😆 (psycho me I know😆) & listen to it every single day 😉 still doesn't get boring or old & it keeps reminding me of Maneet scenes, I can picture them more clearly! 😉

2. Mahi music has been brought in, is I think for the very light moments, & I mean very light, like Geet touching Maan's hand, I think it's more likely to be Maan's music but I may be wrong. However, when they do play Mahi, its always at the perfect times! 😉 I have never heard the music being played at the wrong time (that I felt) Also it was a sign of showing the audience of the big transaction that had taken place in Geet's life, from the way Maneet were in Hoshiyarpur, to the way Maneet have become closer in Delhi! 😉

3. So when both are played in the same episode, not only does it remind us of the new scenes, it also reminds us of the old scenes between Maneet 😉 It's gives us a zing of the old & the new but it does not differentiate the two because we can still feel that its Maneet! The old represents the start of their relationship (how they met etc) whereas the new represents the bond that has become stronger between the two! An indication of their attarction towards each other! 😉
