Dhani and Sarla are talking to their children. Dhani is shown being happy over her daughters attachment to Sarla. Sarla is shown scolding the baby boy for hurting her feelings by going into Dhani's lap.
Amber is playing with the baby boy while Sarla is happily sitting. Dhani walks in with the daughter and hands her over to Sarla asking her to take care of her while she showers. Sarla reluctantly takes her and while leaving Dhani thinks that the distance between Sarla's lap and heart isn't far for the baby girl. Sarla asks Amber to hold the baby girl while she gives medicine to the boy. The baby girl starts to cry as Sarla is about to hand her over. Amber refuses to take her saying he can't stand it when his daughter cries and he'll take care of the medicine.
Amber hands Dhani the baby boy saying the baby girl just won't let go of Sarla so he decided to bring the boy here. Amber says the baby boy doesn't take medicine from anyone but Dhani manages to successfully give the kid medicine. Amber is amazed and pretends to ask his son the secret behind this. Amber states that the baby boy likes Dhani more than Sarla. Sarla and Mohini are standing outside the room and hear this. Mohini says some nonsense against Dhani. Sarla walks into the room and puts the baby girl on the bed. She asks for her son back and Dhani hands him over. Sarla tells Amber she needs to bathe him and stuff.
Sarla needs to go to the hospital to get her stitches removed. Taiji is waiting and Sarla comes with her baby. Buaji says not to take the baby and takes him away. Taiji and Sarla leave.
Buaji is having a hard time trying to stop the baby from crying. Dhani also tries but the baby doesn't stop. Buaji says the baby must want his mother's milk. Buaji goes to phone Sarla. Sarla comes home and finds out that Dhani has the baby.
Sarla walks into Dhani's room. Dhani is sitting with her back facing Sarla. Sarla accuses Dhani of wanting to take over her son. Sarla takes the baby boy and accuses Dhani of stealing all her happiness. Sarla says she will not even let Dhani's shadow to fall on her son.
The naming cermony is taking place. The baby boy is named Shlok by Sarla. Everyone gives gifts to the baby. Dhani names the baby girl Aastha. Taiji gives Shlok gold bracelets and gives Aastha silver bracelets. Guests start saying that she is differing between the two genders but Taiji says that silver is lucky for females. Buaji explains the meaning of the pooja saying now is his son is the future of the house. Amber says this pooja should happen for his daughter as well but Buaji refuses saying daughter's are paraya dhan.
