Kankoo is standing with the body of female puppet hajivan comes and sees her shocked understands everything… on the stage announcer is announcing harjivan's name for next performance… suddenly Kankoo sees herself in the mirror with body of puppet and her face… she wears chunari of female puppet and colours her face like katputtli and comes in front of Harjivan… Harjivan understands and says no she will not dance at katputtli he will perform the show without female katputtli… curtain opens and performance begins… audience is shocked to see such big size puppet show… and at the time of female katputtli's entry Kankoo enters and starts dancing like katputtli… all claps for such a nice performance but kaveri notices kankoo's payal and whispers that she is not katputtli but kankoo… children also notices that kankoo is dancing and not the puppet… suddenly the head of the female puppet drops from the hands of the child and rolls down on the stage where kankoo is dancing… kankoo stops and all shocked… and understand that in place of puppet kankoo is dancing … they starts hooting… shouts cheating… cheating… in the centre part of the village(chopal) all gathers and sarpanch accused harjivan for cheating and demands an explanation… kankoo without speaking with actions tries to convince them that what had happened but nobody understands her… harjivan stops her and silently listens humiliation… Kankoo is crying…
