genuine singer

Guys i was wondering what is the meaning of genuine singer? someone recently said rakesh maini is a genuine singer,when i went and read it i understood from the topic ,if u sing and come back with out much talking,it is considered genuine singing.
recently ,in vishwas interview also i found him saying shivam to be genuine singer,what is the meaning of it? i only know a singer is judged as good singer or bad/besura.

if talking in the show ,doing some mimickry,or dancing is not considered correct,then going for makeover,wearing contact lenses,hairstyle,overall grooming what category does that all come under?😕

i always feel the show wants some entertainment for TRP'S,so it decides and not the contestants.

I dont think any of them fall under that category. Else they would not be doing any sorts of drama on the stage. All are after glamour and money.

On a serious note genuine singer is a perspective. It is one who is perceived to be most dedicated to singing. I may find someone to be a genuine singer, but others may not. Although every now and then we have dedicated talent.
