Alisha may say no no no no...but its a yes yes yes yes from me. Good job done by Alisha. Some nice variations.

kajra Re would have been my choice of song for this round. I absolutely loved her voice in that song. This song, not so much. Her attempt was really good. She showed a lot of energy which this song certainly required. It wasn't her best, but it wasn't her worst either. Some places I felt she went out of tune and in other places I felt that she could have stretched out her words more to create a greater effect. But maybe the song didn't require as much as I wanted it to, therefore it wouldn't be fair on my part to cut her marks solely for those reasons.

Final Rating: 7.5 rounded to an 8

It'll be interesting to see how the ratings go here. She could join the battle for last between Sunidhi, Anuradha, and Alka. She like Sunidhi, gets a handful of low marks for some reason.

Salman Khan has the weird ability of making Anu Malik produce the crassest and catchiest songs with a typical Sallu touch. (BTW I'm really glad to see THREE Anu songs this round). We've seen such Anu-Sallu collaborations before in Judwaa, Jaanemann, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Jaanam Samjha Karo, Biwi No 1 et al.

And when Anu makes a song for Sallu, he has the ability to make other playback singers sound like Anu Malik! Whether it was Abhijeet in 'Tan Tana Tan' or Sonu in 'Jaane Ke Jaane Na' or even Sunidhi in 'Do Me a Favour Let's Play Holi'- the singer somehow starts sounding a bit like Anu! And with her unnecessary falsetto high notes, her unrolled 'r's and the clicks in her voice, even Alisha ends up sounding like a female Anu ( as Debu already noted).

Btw, singing like Anu Malik, male or female, is NOT a good thing. I guess we won't see the Alka-Anuradha tie just yet...
