'woh rehne wali basti ki'

1st December 2008,,, a show started with a different issue,,, and i was attracted towards a very unique story line... a story of "maid's daughter" it was the strength of this story line which made this non-masala show based on a little badly dressed girl,,,a big success without romance and hero heroine concept ,,,one point which made me stick to this show was,,,,ichha's desire to be bada admi i can still remember those dialogues,,"ammo,,,tu mujha parhaye gi na??? main parh likh ke tapu key papa jaisa bada admi bano gi" phir tujha kaam nhi kerna pade ga etc"

then this gal of 8 yrs made a promise to her ammo and then every thing changed forever,,,, the story which earliers seemed to belong a struggle of a poor gal to be successful in life turned into a struggle of a maid's daughter to make her so-called friend happy.....so when ichha completed her studies she started teaching in school with her mom's name,,,but was that enough being a daughter??? no,, if i were at her place i first made my career and remove that maid's tag from my mom... daughter doing social work and old mother doing dish washing and taking insult by nani on regular basis,..... what a shame...then,,,she sacrificed veer for tapu ki khushi,,,but didnt thought about her mother's dreams for her....then forgave her for attempting murder on her and now she is marrying ex-lover's bro just for the sake of that evil friend....

can the makers of uttaran justify their story line??? that how they ditched audiences?? how they made their leading lady dumb,,who cant stand for right.... who can hurt anyone even her mother for tapu ki khushi....who cant distinguish b/w good and bad..... is this the journey of a maid's daughter from a basti to a mehal????

in the future,, what if tapu steal the family jewelery??? will ichha stop her?? no she wont,,, she will say,,koi baat nhi tapu tu le le jo chaye,, main ilzam apne per le lon gi.... and what do u think if ichha gets pregnant,,, and tapu says out of jealousy,,that,,hum toh kabhi maa ban hi nhi paein ga,,veer ne hume apnaya jo nhi.... so ichha will say,,, tapu tu chinta mat ker,,,,mera bacha le le.,,tu bta tujha mera bacha abhi chahye yaa after birth???
and if some how that poor kid came into being and tapu killed him out of jealousy,,, then what will ichha say??? i tell you she'll say,,, koi baat nhi tapu,,, main tujh se bohat pyar kerti hon,,,tere liye main 1 toh kya 100 bachey kurbaan ker sakti hon..... hell....
so that is a struggle of a maid's daughter guys.... who is maid mentally and spiritually..and she will always be..................

Yes I also want ichcha to stand up to Tapu baba un reasonable demands. Forgiving tapu even after she tried to kill ichcha way really too much

@ jyoti... you are right,,, its just a serial,,, and we should take it as a serial... but unfortunately i m still in a age where emotions rule one's life... so after so much of emotional torture i m helpless to say this... you rightly said that daily soaps work like this,,, but i would say normally daily soap start and end with masala... but in case of uttaran they promised us apples but giving lemons..... in my childhood i sacrificed somthing for my friend which affect my studies or say marks,,, my teacher told me... doing somthing for freind is not bad,,, but next time when you do something for our friend ,,, make sure it wont hurt your parents desires for you....then i realized that loyalty with parents is more important than loyalty with anyone else....but unfortunately ichha's life starts and ends with tapu.... i must say k-shows leads were very strong and honest... their life's struggle was to save their hubby from wamp...but here in uttaran.... ichha can sacrifice 100 veer for the wamp.........

I hav been sayin the exact things in the past... Glad to see my soul sis thinks similarly! Loyalty to mom who struggled to raise u is less imp than loyalty to a psycho friend. Using brains is less imp than fulfilling others' idiotic wishes without thinking! It is sadist, but I really want Vansh to torture her so that she mite realize what a stupid zidd she had of marrying the charasi inspite of jogi- dams warnings!grrrrr

this show sucks yaar.its so pathetic to watch uttran nowadays.its bull shit.when tapasya was a bride they closed her face with ghungat.but y not ichhas?cant vansh clarify his doubts with veer?y dragging the serial?

so i can sing,,,"juda ho key bhi,,, tu mujh mein kahin baki ha" its really good to see you pooja... but if you are thinking that,,,she'll repent on her decision of marrying vansh??? then think again ,,,she is ichha who only loves and listens to the people who hate and torture her.first tapu then nani and now vansh.. in future,,, vansh will be another tapu for ichha,,,i mean she will do everything for vansh ki khushi,,,, as she promised ammo to keep tapu happy ... now she promised jogi to support vansh till her last breath...and we'll all see,, the more he'll torture her the more she will love him.......

Shonuu, i think todays serials/soaps focus only on the so called "TRP'S.They start on a good note to attract ppl but then they change the storyline and give unpleasant twist which get the audiences on their nerves and sometimes too boring to watch.They play with the emotions of viewers and fail to realize dat ppl dont like it.The characters which we want to see happy and united are always tortured.On the basis of the Trp's the serials gain popularity which was not there earlier.Nowadays the vamps r gaining appreciation rather than the leads of the show.
