I am glad that I was wrong about the hug between Manav and Archana, he does respond.

But it wasn't  a romantic response at all. He is only interested in staying as good friends with her .He just placed one hand on her shoulder and that's it ... He is deciding  their future all on his own ....

Better for Archana, she can move forward with her life happily the same can't be said for Manav :)

You are right . It is good for Archana not to have emotional attatchments , specially romantic ones , with her soon to be ex husband ..
