Karan + Jennifer = KaJen

Two amazingly sketched characters portrayed by two extremely talented actors, in one of India's most popular and loved youth shows - DMG-1! Kajen were seen as Dr Armaan & Dr Riddhima in DMG-1 from 13 April 2009 till 21 September 2009. The magic of Armaan & Riddhima's love is something anyone would fail to successfully put into words... Their love makes the viewer fall in love... In love with them and in love with their love! When they cry, we cry. When they're happy, we're happy. When they're in love, we're in love! And that's exactly why we love them! Though the journey of A-R was cut shorter than expected, and not on a very happy note, we can still keep praying and hoping that the day will come very soon when KaJen are back together on our screens!

What makes "KaJen" (Karan-Jennifer) so special is that their working relationship goes back a long way. They had earlier worked together in 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay' [2005/06]. During the time they spent together shooting KZK, they became very close friends. Later, when Karan hosted the reality show 'Zara Nachke Dikha' in 2008, Jennifer happened to be a participant on the show... and in 2009, we again saw the magic of Karan & Jennifer return to our screens... and this time it was as our already much loved characters in love ' Armaan & Riddhima!

[ Karan Singh Grover ]

Karan Singh Grover (born 23^rd February 1982) spent his childhood in Saudi Arabia and moved to Mumbai in the year 2000 to pursue a degree and career in Hotel Management. However, after bagging the label of the "Most Popular Model" at the Gladrags contest in 2004, acting became a natural progression. Karan debuted on our TV screens with Ekta Kapoor & MTV's 'Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi', after which he was a part of many projects including 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay', 'Solah Singaar', 'CID', 'Princess Dolly aur Uska Magic Wand' and 'Parrivaar'. However, it was with the launch of StarOne & Cinevistaas 'Dill Mill Gayye' in August 2007, that he shot to instant fame!
His portrayal as Dr Armaan Malik won him many million fans across the globe and today, his good looks, charming personality and immensely natural talent have assured his position as the most popular and loved star on Indian television.
Along with DMG, Karan was also seen in a short role in the film Bhram [2008] as well as reality shows: Zara Nachke Dikha [2008], Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 [2009] and Idea Rocks India [2009].

We know he will keep on making us proud with everything he does, because he is our 'armaan' for a reason...and he will always be our one & only winner! We love you Karan, keep rocking!

[ Jennifer Winget ]

Jennifer Winget (30^thMay 1985): After acting in small roles in movies such as 'Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya' and 'Kuch Na Kaho', Jennifer made her television debut on the comedy show 'Shaka Laka Boom Boom'. Later, she went on to being a part of many serials such as 'Kkusum', 'Kahin To Hoga', 'Kasauti Zindagii Kay', 'Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka' and 'Sangam'. Her other work on the small screen includes having participated in the dance reality show 'Zara Nachke Dikha' (which KSG hosted). Jennifer started shooting for 'Dill Mill Gayye', as Dr Riddhima, in April 2009 and won the hearts of many. She had already proved to be one of Indian television's most talented and adorable actresses and the audience welcomed her as our Dr Riddhima with open arms!

We wish Jennifer [who we DMG'ians lovingly refer to as our "Moyna"] all the luck and we will definitely be supporting her all we can. God bless you Jennifer, and thank you for doing such an amazing job with the role of our Riddhima!

It's been nearly 3 months now, since KaJen/AR last appeared on DMG...21st September 2009 - not a happy day for any of us! But I'm really proud at the way we've handled this so guys remember....so stay positive, stay happy, keep loving KaJen, keep faith and keep praying for the best...'coz Umeed Hai Toh Sab Kuch Hai ! 😳

Inshallah KaJen will b back on our screens reaaallly soon...regardless to the current status of confusion on DMG....We can continue to expect to see KaJen on our screens sooooon atleastt👍🏼😊 In fact we get to see Karan in IRI on Sunday's & we've seen Jenny rock in CC3 for some weeks also🥳 Hopefully they'll be working together again real soon too, and be back in daily shows soon also....because we're all missing them more than we can say in words😭 But....patience is a virtue, so keep that hope alive...I'm sure something aweeesomely great is in store for us KaJen fans....after all - their destiny bought them together time & time again, and yet again...we can place a safe bet on destiny to do the same *touchwood*!
