What are your thoughts on Draco Malfoy?

Draco Malfoy is a very well developed character..JKR has a flair of creating such real characters..we can almost understand them..their actions and even if they are evil..we totally understand their ways and how come they became so ...

Noone in real life is completely good or completely bad...

Draco Malfoy is a person who has grown up understanding that pure bloods are superior wizards than half bloods and muggle borns....This superiority complex is inane..inherited...

He has been brought up in such a way so as to consider himself the richest and the best...His thoughts have been moulded towards DD..HP..Hermione ....by his father..His mother is no less..so like her name Narscissa..conceited person..training Draco to look down upon others....

He is true slytherin given a chance saves his own back than others....

But that doesnt mean he is PURE evil.."he is not a murderer"...

- Do you think his character was well-developed?
Yes

- How far do you think he would have gone astray if his parents had influenced him his entire life?
he wud have been worse then...

- Any other comments on Draco?
I have lots of thoughts...may edit and post later...This much for now...

What are your thoughts on Draco Malfoy?
Draco is a very interesting character, as someone mentioned above, we can all relate to him as we all hav a little good and a little bad in us
I hated Draco in the first few books because he is kind of a bully, and also because of his prejudice and superority agains half-bloods/Muggle-borns
But a lot of his thinking is due to his family, in a way he has been taught to think like that, and in the absence of his better role models, has been influenced wrongly
He is arrogant and slefish, but I wouldn't say he is evil
As Dumbledore says, "he is not a killer"

- Do you think his character was well-developed?
Yes, he was sadistic and mean, but deep down he did have a conscience and was capable of love, he cared about his family
He changed a lot thoughout the series, maturing

- How far do you think he would have gone astray if his parents had influenced him his entire life?

He would have been a lot worse, would probaly have become a Death Eater and killed / tortured people
- Any other comments on Draco?
Tom Felton did an absolutely amazing job portraying him, and definitely made him a lot more appealing and understandable

Since he's my favourite character, I had to comment on this one
- What are your thoughts on Draco Malfoy?

I really love Draco. He was always funny and proud. A little mean, but I liked the direction where he was headed. I think he was destined for good.
- Do you think his character was well-developed?

Not at all. His character had a lot of potential, for good or otherwise. But he was developed into nothing better than a wimp, mindlessly power hungry (which made no sense to me. Voldermort was power hungry because he was powerless when he was little. Draco always had power, being a Malfoy, so I thought he would turn good)
- How far do you think he would have gone astray if his parents had influenced him his entire life?

Well his parents did influence him his entire life, I think.
- Any other comments on Draco?

I really was very disappointed, when in the book he was portrayed as such. I wish JK had written him differently

He is interesting character as an rival to Harry porter in the most of time in the series. But in the current film his character has developed nicely and portrayed as an soldier of dark side rather than rival to Harry.I think he deserves to for this tag.I think in the next two film we will see his more central role to the story.

- What are your thoughts on Draco Malfoy?
Another very realistic character of JKR's. He was at first the ideal symbolism for a school bully, and most of us probably never expected much else from him for the rest of the series, but he grew to be a character much more than that and who was being forced to do something which was not in him (murder) to keep his family safe. We see the more Slytherin side of Draco, like the negative qualities of cunningness, saving his own skin at the cost of others, etc, but we also see the positive aspects of Slytherin in him, like the ambition and straight-mindedness. In the end, Draco became a more liberal minded person than he was before (symolized by the curt nod he gave Harry in the epilogue...he'd never have done that in their school years) due to the horror he saw could happen if evil is supported. Though probably not fully liberal, I think Draco's getting there.

- Do you think his character was well-developed?
Very much so, his character was another one of those we didn't think much of other than what we saw outside, but were given a whole different story.

- How far do you think he would have gone astray if his parents had influenced him his entire life?
He'd probably have become a death eater, but since Voldemort already died by the time he became an adult, he'd probably have become one of those corrupt politician people like Fudge or Umbridge.

- Any other comments on Draco?
A very well thought out character of JKR's, and played magnificently by Tom Felton. Honestly, Felton was Draco Malfoy in the 6th film!šŸ‘
