The wwe smackdown series of games have been made famous by the playstation 2.

ever since the new gen game consoles came out, the developers have been paying less attention to the ps2 version and cut out features which the ps2 can easily handle, as they all want us to buy the new gen consoles. and inspite of this the ps2 versions have had higher sales than the other 2, possibly as the new consoles havent been bought much. and because of this thq cut out a lot of features on the ps2, just so people will want ps3 and xbox 360 more. it is quite sad actually. insulting a legendary system like that.

This video voices the pinions of the ps2 fans. please spare some of your time.

WWE and THQ, shame on you.

I'm sorry, you wanted me to reply here, because you thought I was going to have something to say? You're kidding, right?

All I can do in this topic is let my mouth hang open wide and judge you and all those who's lives revolve around video games. That's what I've been doing in Sarina's sports topic as well.

LOL! and to add some funny stuff, on Internet the following terminology is used:

Nintendo or Wii Fans: Sheep (They buy or do whatever Nintendo tells them. Nintendo easily shepherds them.)

Sony or PS2 fans : Cows (They just sit and never move to other systems. Often say negative things about other systems. Sony keeps on milking them for money.)

@WA: Then what will you do in December after your marriage with RTH? Will you go to the dark side?😛

On topic and one question: Does somethings even change in these kinds of games? For example is there any difference between WWE 2007 and WWE 2008, etc? Just the names of some people in the roster?

Moreover, a global question and not at all restricted to games:

Some people call it "intelligent marketing" and some people call it "the cheap way". What is the difference between these two?

its not intelligent as ppl expect us to buy rs 14000 ps3's and x 360's for which we cant get pirated games, and the ones that do have a piracy modification which allows us to play fake games, wont last for 3 months!

well these are the differences: roster as u said, new control system , all new story designing mode where we can make cutscenes and rivalries.. its awesome.. also the road to wrestlemania mode is awesome.

What about xbox fans? xbox had very few good games.. apart from doom 3, halo, etc many games were lame... ps2 was the best.

nintendo is an amazing console as well.

Xbox fans are called lemmings (because they move in herds and their mob behavior leads them to fall off the cliffs in masses.)
PC fans are called Hermits (A type of crab who doesnt move much in its jar. This is to say that PC fans stay locked in their basements with their PCs.)
LOL!
