SCHOOL LIFE: Mahi was the goal keeper for his football team in the school,DAV Ranchi,and was excellent at badminton too,but his life changed when his instructor Mr K R Banerjee sent him to play cricket in a local club.Mahi then became the regular wicket keeperfor Commando Cricket club(95-98).Based on his performances,he was selectedfor the 97-98 Vindoo Mankad Trophy U-16 championship,and he did well.he made his Ranji Debut for Bihar in 1999-2000 as an 18 year old,and then went on to scale newer heights every passing day...
