Update: Sep 14, 2009-Tape is found but...

Shiwam losses the challenge of removing 22 buckets of water from the well in 15 minutes. Shiwam comes home, with his hands all bruised, Nanda rushes to him, nurses his wound. Gaurav narrates Nanda about what happened at the bavdi, she is touched.
 
Babli asks Mintoo if they can give the Rs. 2 lakh to Nanda instead of starting the business but Mintoo gets angry and refuses saying that the money is for their kids future.

Pathare comes home, and declares that he is starting the work now that they have sent money to him. Nanda and Shiwam are shocked to hear this, how can Pathare receive money from them, while they are still struggling to gather the amount. Pathare with great difficulty recollects the money was given by Shiwam's friend Mintoo Chaddha.

Nanda calls up Bubbly and thanks her. Bubbly is surprised and she thanks Mintoo. Mintoo says that he did this for his bachhi ie Geeti. (Such a sweet couple!)

Pathare gets on to the job, he goes to a dingy looking room with the money and collects the tape from Randhwa's watchman Mahesh. Pathare gets the tape and comes to Shinde house, he reveals now that he required 4 lakhs to get this tape from the security guy Mahesh and this tape will prove Geeti innocent. He reveals that to the Shindes Jassi's motives to make the tape. He also tells them that the prosecution lawyer is under Randhawa's complete control and he is going to present two fake witnesses. One will claim he saw Geeti convincing Jassi to go with her and the other will say he saw Geeti trying to seduce Jassi. But now the tape will prove their claims false.

When they play the tape, it is blank, Mahesh has duped Pathare.

Preview: Nanda speaks to Mahesh. Nanda is with Randhawa who has the tape. He burns the tape in front of her.

Pathare is such a dumb lawyer, I mean who pays 2 lakhs for a tape without even checking it first?
Mintoo and Bubbly are the sweetest couple in the show! It was so noble of them to give the money for Geeti but Pathare blew it away! Edited by pallavi25 - 14 years ago

exactly what i was thinking...Pathare was so dumb. cant believe that the guy was a top notch lawyer during his heydays. the guy is seriously out of practice or seriously dumb.
abt babli and mintoo i feel that of the 2 of them mintoo was sweeter. he has never even met geeti or nanda. yet do so much for strangers was really sweet. and he really loves babli so much. but now i feel that without his own money he will end up borrowing money for the business and get into big trouble.
