Episode 276 Monday 7/9/09 - for the archives
Valar is crying - worried about the past and says that she
feels bad about cheating Vivek. Both Kothai and Punitha
advise her to forget the past -" carry on with your life
happily .Forget that accident in your life." Ratnavel has
his hand in a sling. His son wants to know the truth about
his appearance against Shantha. Wants him to withdraw
from the case but Ratna refuses. Shantha is in the police
station - not much worried about the case. Akila comes
and informs with a sad face that Ratnavel is the GP. Akila
says that the punishment is imminent. Punitha and Surya
decide to go to Balu's house for inviting them - much against
Kothai's and Valar's wishes. Deena comes to Balu's house and
hands over some money. Balu refuses but the rest compel
him to accept. Sangi and Balu decide to invite Punitha for the
engagement. Shantha is brought to the court . His henchman
meets him and expresses his fear about the GP Shantha consoles
him saying "Shantha never loses" Ratnavel comes - Shantha and
Ratna stare at each other.

Episode 277 Tuesday 8/9/09
Shantha and Ratnavel outside the court - challenging each other.
Ratnavel is arguing - first witness - Murali Police Inspector. Ratnavel
establishes that the knife has Shantha's finger prints and the timing
matches. Also establishes that it is a planned murder. Judge asks
Shantha for his side - for once Shantha says the truth , the whole truth
and nothing but the truth - goes on to boast that he left the party because
the party did not support justice and truth. Shantha is sent to police
custody - 1 week. Outside the court another confrontation with Ratna -
" u may be a criminal lawyer but I am a criminal to the core" Ratna says
" I know u did not murder Komala but I am going to win this case and
get u punished for your previous sins" Uma comes back to Ashok - antha
mamiyaar kizham kannai urutti urutti pazha mozhi solli Roja vai
veruppu yethithu. But Uma was cool -" adi podi, unnai ippo puthusa
paakarena" apdi nnu oru look. Uma asks about the bald letter-theone
saying that Valar has a horride past. Ashok denies involvement.
Mahesh and Renuka - discussing Shantha's case. Mahesh is surprised
about the popularity of his dad and Renu talks about her aunt getting
scared. Both decide to find a solution to release Shantha. Punitha's
house - Balu and Sangee land. Punitha is surprised to see them.

Episode No 278 Wednesday 9/9/09
Sangee and Balu arrive - daddy, mommy photos paarthu both Balu
and Punitha crying. Sangee says that they have come to invite Punitha
and Co for Somu's engagement. In turn Balu gets know that Valar is
getting married in 2 days. Balu wants to know if Valar was forced in to
a marriage and Punitha explains . Generally a congenial atmosphere.
Sushila goes back to college. Her college mate who loves her meets her
and says that his love for her has not changed. Valar and Vivek cootchi
cooing in a restaurant. Valar asks about "two mothers" and Vivek says
that both his mothers dote on them. Both are laughing - Umapathi sees
this. Mahesh once again confronts his dad and says that he should not
appear against Shantha. Ratnavel says that he wont oblige -" I advocate
justice and there is no place for any sentiments." Punitha tells Surya that
they should invite his father for Valar's wedding. Surya hesitates but
agrees to call his dad. Sisters' light hearted banter - Punitha wants to
see Ratnavel andhis wife " must invite for the wedding and inform
about Pathi brothers " Kothai agrees - Punitha is concerned - "wedding
ozhunga nadakkuma amma??' Kothai says that all will go well.

Episode No 279 Thursday 10/9/09
The party chief comes to the police station to meet Shantha. He wants
Shantha to part with at least 40% of the loot. Shantha says unakkum peppe
unga appanukkum peppe. Shantha warns the chief - " keep off this case.
if u try to intervene then I will tell the judge that it was you who asked me
to finish off Komala..will tell him that you threatened me !!!" Thalaivar scoots.
Renuka asks her athai about Shantha's case. Mahesh comes. Asks Akila about
the connection between Shantha and Ratnavel. Akila denies any connection
but tells them that Ratnavel is a very intelligent lawyer - " I will look for
someone who is better than Ratna and get your uncle out. Leave it to me".
Pathi brothers - Seetha jittery..Uma consoling. Uma says that Shantha will
definitely suspect their hand in Komala's death - " so lets lie low.."
Vivek household ( appa maarittar - vera appa ippo) - all are happy about
Vivek marrying Valar - " ipdi oru nalla ponnu namakku kidaikka namba
punniyam panni yirukkom..." one mom lista all the good done by Valar
and co. - well happiness brimming. Valar walks in asking for the key.
another light hearted banter from all. Ratnavel comes to Shantha's house.
Akila has asked him to come. Both chat for a while and Akila says that she
wont ask him to spare her hubby. Informs about Mahesh probing her and
Ratnavel says that he will take care of that. This talk is watched by
Shantha's gundu henchman ...Ratna leaves....

Episode No 280 Friday 11/9/09
Susi's friends are talking about Chandru - that boy who is in love with Susi -
and one friend decides to take it up. Goes and talks to Susi saying that Chandru
really loves her -"in spite of your handicap !!" Susi's mom eavesdrops as usual.
Mahesh and Renu go to meet Shantha. The gundu alla kai is also there -
reports about Akila meeting Ratna. Mahesh probes about his dad and Shantha
but Shantha denies any connection. Ratna visits Punitha - gets to know about
the Pathi brothers - he promises to keep an eye. Susi's father is informed
about Chandru. Both her mom and patti express their desire to get Susi
married to Chandru. Surya calls his dad and invites him for Valar's wedding.
Durai warns his FIL " antha wedding pona, do not come back here, ok?"
Uma's MIL and hubby visit Uma's house. Her sister's hubby talks about Ashok's
kambi counting episode. Pazha mozhi paatti justifies her son's action -
"anbalippu nnu kuduthu ttu maatti vittu ttanga.. my son is gold.." (athu sari
ellaam aal aal kku orasi paarthachu 😳) After they leave, the family discusses
Ashok and his mom. One mother ( yaar yaarukku amma?? rendu mother
epdi vanthaanga?? Romba mukkiam..Roja update panni ttu pOinde iru,ok??
Logic , reasoning ellam keppiyaa??keppiyaa??) feels sad that Ashok may
not attend the wedding ( ithu santhosha pada vendiya vishayam, why are u
unhappy??) Dad is not too worried - possibly echoes Roja's sentiments.
Pathi brothers - in their hide out. Discuss about their sister refusing to meet them.
Seetha tries to justify but Uma is unhappy. Later he is able to see through
his sister's mind - " She is right. if she meets us, we might forget revenge !!
All those who brought us to where we are now, should suffer..Punithaaaa"
