Nandini
is the heroine of the story. Tall, slim and supremely beautiful ' at
heart and in looks. She is sensitive, thoughtful and intelligent. She
is unselfish and thinks about the welfare of her family and dear ones.
To contribute to the family's income she does a course in flower
arrangement. In the future course of the story she uses this art and
skill to help Ketki to stand on her feet. She addresses Keshu as Papu
and Ketki as mamma. Nandini is the elder of the two daughters of Atish
Parekh and like a son to him. She and Shantanu are made for each other
and they make a fine couple.
