Geeti realises that she did not actually commit Jassi's murder. He died when she tries to escape his clutches. But Nanda and Shivam are worried as there are no witnesses to this and Randhawa is out to get Jassi's killer's blood. That's when Nanda suggests that they go to the police instead of waiting for the police to come to them. In the meanwhile, Shubha does her best to strike a balance between Vasu and Trisha but the latter's tantrums are slowly getting out of hand.

Nanda tells Geeti about going to police and informing about how Jassi died. Geeti gets very nervous, but Nanda calms her down. Shiwam who was initially skeptical decides to support Nanda. They reveal the entire detail of Jassi's murder; they convince the police that they would themselves bring Geeti to police station after Ganesh Visarjan. Shubha and Vinni wait for Trisha at the breakfast table, but she refuses to come out. Bubbly and Shubha meet in the train and wonder if Nanda has brought in Ganpati. They visit Nanda's house to give her support, and are shocked to see police walking out of their house. Trisha, alone in the house goes through the old pictures of Joshi family; just then Vasu spots her and get into an argument. Trisha traps herself in a room, but finally opens the door and announces that she will not leave this house till she gets her rights. Nanda and Shiwam bump into Randhawa outside the police station. Randhawa bad mouths Geeti and accuses her of Jassi's murder.

Shubha and Bubbly do their best to keep Geeti's mood cheerful. It is time for visarjan and they get ready for it. In the meanwhile, Randhawa puts too much pressure on the police to arrest Geeti. They finally give in even as they believe her to be innocent. At Dhanbad, Pooja eagerly awaits the arrival of Karan. She is glad to note that he has changed. Just as they immerse the Ganpati idol in a lake, the police arrive at their home and arrest Geeti.

Nanda and Shivam take an auto and rush behind the van with Geeti in it. They arrive there to find Randhawa telling Geeti off. The police advise them to get a good lawyer. when the couple find one such lawyer, he tells them that they don't have much hope of salvaging the situation. Pooja is pleasantly surprised when Karan pays of her mother's debts to the jewellers and also gifts Pooja with a sari. Shivam goes to Randhawa and pleads with him and explains the situation clearly. Watch the episode to see whether Radhawa is pacified.
