Who is the best Reality Game Show Host on Television?

Who is the best reality show host on TV in India? Quite a few Bollywood celebs in the recent few years have decided to TV because of the huge amount of money they were getting. But somewhere down the line, the stars found it therapeutic to touch base with television and audiences who love them. Two of them Shahrukh Khan and Rajeev Khandelwal owe their movie career to television, and it was natural for the two of them to come back to television in a huge manner.

Here are the best Bollywood-bred reality show hosts on television

1. Amitabh Bachchan: Amitabh Bachchan paved the way for other actors to host game shows and reality shows with Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 1 and 2. He was exceptional as a host and the lines 'lock kiya jai' and 'computer mahashay' are to TV what Sholay's lines is to cinema. Amitabh Bachchan's humility and the ability to emphatize with the contestant made him a superhit host.

2. Shahrukh Khan: Shahrukh Khan hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 3 when Amitabh Bachchan couldn't give his commitment because of health reasons and films. SRK hosted KBC 3 well, though he had a shaky start because of the Big B aura looming in a big manner on the audience. Shahrukh Khan held his own and with his characteristic sense of humor and easy charisma played to the gallery. One of the best episodes was Shahrukh Khan episode with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as guests. SRK came back again with Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass se ez Hai which coincided with Dus Ka Dum (1st season) hosted by Salman Khan.

3. Salman Khan: Salman Khan's mischievous nature, temperament and the ability to touch people's hearts made him the perfect host for Dus Ka Dum. Though Dus Ka Dum -first season was well done, Dus Ka Dum-2 has broken all records and Salman Khan is totally having a ball at the show's second series. 4. Rajeev Khandelwal: Rajeev Khandelwal did a fantastic job in Aamir, came back to host Sach Ka Saamna, the show which has very high TRPs at this point of time. Rajeev Khandelwal knows his job well, does not interfere, gets people talking and makes the show interesting.

5. Akshay Kumar: While the above four play indoors, Akshay Kumar, being the Khiladi he is, loves to play outdoors. Akshay Kumar hosted Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 1, which laid the foundation for the popularity of Colors Channel, which increased with Bigg Boss.
