Episode No 546 Monday 3/8/09

Starts with athai accusing Viswa and Co - Tells Lachu that she suspects
Megs who considers maniac as a good friend - " u never liked her from
the beginning, anyways !!!" Now both Sezhi and Viswa get smart. Viswa
sends Lachu inside , apologizes to athai and also to Sezhi for hitting him.
Athai does not want to retreat - " we better finish this here, otherwise Kirtana's
wedding le there could be problems.." Viswa uses that as an excuse and tells
athai that this issue can be discussed after Kirtana's wedding. Sezhi
takes the hint and drags a reluctant athai back home.

Danda household - Tams is reading a news item - about some convict who is
slated for hanging gets his wife married to her ex lover. Danda and others feel
that the sanctity of marriage is lost by such acts - Tams asks Loosu - the smartest
in that family ( apdi podu !!! ) - for her opinion. Loosu does a Loosanandhi lecture -
"soozh nilai (grrrrrrrrr), good / bad ellam think panni thaan antha hubby would
have taken that decision. For him it would have been a difficult one... how can
we just decide .... right or wrong??" Moron is asked for his opinion. he answers
that the man's action is right -" it just shows how much he loves his wife !!" Well,
well, Sara with Amutha walks in.... given a warm welcome by every one
( are we given a hint?? that moron will die and before that will get Loosu married
to Sara ??? That will be great !!!)

Tilaga household - all are discussing about the saintly maniac and the satanic
Viswa - athai comes back and says that she talked so well that Viswa and Co
put their tails behind their backs. Sezhi applauds athai and her interacting skills.
Athai says that this issue will be discussed after Kirtana's wedding. Wants to
consult an astrologer - "why Megs and Viswa wedding gets postponed like this?"
Now Tilaga cries and says that she is loosing sleep over all her problems. Athai
gets to know the escapade of QBS - well QBS lands on the dot . Tilaga and
Co shout at her with out even asking her to come in. Athai the angel, takes her
in and probes " enna prachani?" QBS says that COD's mom called "yen thambi
Kalai Arasu " as a "Odi pona kadangaran" - " I fought only for that and all of
u are finding fault with me??" Athai gets pepped up and is ready to fight any
one who vetoes that suggestion - "yes, Kalai Arasu is the name of my
grandson and no one can change that..."

Episode No 547 Tuesday 4/8/09

Viswa and Anitha meet - mottai maadi conference. Viswa
says that he has doubts about maniac and has many
reasons to believe that maniac is a villain - " but when I
voice my fears, no one believes !!! esp Megs !!! What do u
think of him Anitha?" Anitha gives a conduct certificate -
"oh he is an excellent person, gets attached to people as
he was orphaned at an young age.." goes on to sing the life
history - lost his parents in an accident... grew up in an orphanage..
studied... has a girl friend whom he dotes.. blah blah - also says that
he has adopted the son of a colleague who died suddenly. Viswa is
more confused now. Tells Anitha that maniac has some psychological
problems - "may be sit with him and talk out things?" Anitha says that
she does not reciprocate Viswa's sentiments but feels that it is a good
idea - "u and maniac meet face to face and sort out things....good for
every one...all the best"

Danda household - Loosu talks to mommy and learns that QBS has
come with the baby. All are happy. Danda calls moron and asks him
to take Loosu to her mom's place -"buy a nice gold chain and some
dress for the kid - go and see the kid.....forget the past, do not fight
with COD, ok?" Moron says that he is a reformed man and promises
to behave. Loosu says that QBS has fought with COD -" she has come
alone.." Danda says that every couple fight -"ellam baby yaale sariya
pOidum ma.. I want all of us to live ..happily.." Sara and Amutha come
back from somewhere along with Tams. Sara and Danda exchange
apologies.... all are happy.

Samy and Maniac - some vetti scene about having a juice shop.
Viswa comes and tells maniac that he has come with a white
flag - " I learnt all about you....I can understand your problem....
U consult a doctor and set yourmind right...me and Megs will
get u married to a nice girl.." Maniac laughs - his usual crazy
laugh and says that Viswa is saying all that has to be said by him.
Asks Viswa "how much money do u need?? to leave Megs for me?"
Viswa is annoyed and labels maniac as mentally challenged and
goes away... Maniac laughs.... uh huh

Episode No 548 Wednesday 5/8/09

Sundaram's house - Athai, Sezhi and Kavitha - talk about Kirtana's
wedding - all three express their happiness about things running
smooth and Kirtana's wedding will be a gala event. Sundaram is
upset that Kavitha does not care about herself - time to bite, chew
and spit - tells his daughter and SIL that as parents, they are worried
about Kavi and her pregnancy - "first pregnancy is punar jenmam.. I got
an appointment but u never went to see the doctor !!!! Just make sure
that you take care of yourself - pethavangalukkum , mathavangalukkum
athu than difference.." Kavi stands like a pillar - thinking??? who knows??

Tilaga household - COD walks in calling darling wife QBS - demands
to know why she scooted with out any info. QBS says that she did
inform the doctor and nurse -'those who matter !!!" Well, QBS talks,
talks ,talks.....and finally COD is very angry - tells QBS that all is over -
"from now on, there is nothing between us.." Rest of the family is stunned
and Tilaga makes a feeble attempt to contain QBS - as COD moves out, the
baby cries ..... well, the father inside COD wakes up... he cant move further.
Megs brings the kid and tells him that if they fight in future, it will affect
the baby...COD gathers himself and says that he will come later ..leaves.

Durga and Sadasivam - Durga is shouting at hubby for lying to her -
"QBS nalla milagaa arikkaraa... yen seyya maatta, ipdi oru yemali
FIL, oru slave hubby....ava veet le kudukkara edam.." Sadasivam says
that Tilaga scolded QBS and refused to let her in -" naa thaan samathanam
panninen.." Durga shouts some more....COD walks in ..Durga targets him
and COD says that she too is at fault -"why did u talk about her father like that?"
Mommy says that she did not spin any story -" just stated facts ..." Again
words fly from one to another and Durga says that if COD wants of peace in
life, he has to divorce QBS. Sadasivam slaps Durga - both COD and Durga
are stunned - dad says that with the baby , they must find a solution for this
problem and make life happy -"ippo divorce nnu pesaraa??" COD takes dad
away - Durga is still dazed.

Viswa calls Maniac - tells him that if he is interested in knowing how Megs
feels about Viswa , he better listen -"keep your phone on.." keeps his
mobile also open, keeps it in his shirt pocket and goes inside Megs's
house - draws her aside and tells her that there is mistake at both ends -
"I am sorry Megs.." Megs melts, cries and says that she does not care for
any one one's opinion " how can u doubt me?? we may not be married but
i think of myself only as your wife..." Maniac listens to all this....livid....
Viswa and Megs cootchi coo some more....maniac is angry..seethes....
finally Megs leans on Viswa's shoulder and Viswa kisses her on her forehead -
Maniac hears every thing...

Episode No 549 Thursday 6/8/09

After cootchi cooing with Megs, Viswa comes out and
talks to maniac - " you are a mentally sick person and I
had no option but this !!!! I feel ashamed to have done this
- to make a third person eavesdrop the conversation between
a hubby and wife( apdi podu, serial le usual aa thaane thaan
eavesdrop pannuvaanga, inge u help him to do that !! aana paavam
unakku vera vazhi??) ....at least now get the fact straight and
keep off. Get a life, ok?" Maniac is seething and heaves
like a tornado .. and throws his mobile...

Some one comes to Karuna's house with a kid - that boy calls
karuna as appa !!! - Karuna and his dad shout at that man but
that man is real soft - asks for some money as he needs to pay the
school fees of the kid - both Karuna and his dad shout at
him and then Karuna gives some money. Meenakshi cries -
as usual - oh boy, she has the qualification to become Tilaga's
sambhandhi !!! Loosu and moron come to see the baby. Moron
apologizes to QBS - the whole family is moved. QBS has to take
the baby to the hospital. Moron offers to take them. COD calls his
wife and says that he will take them to the hospital. QBS declines
the offer -"nee vendam, na Loosu voda poren.." cuts the call.
COD calls again but QBS is gone. Tilaga pacifies COD.

COD's house - COD sets out to go somewhere and slips at the door.
Daddy and mommy fuss over - COD cries and says that
he feels devastated -" I am not able to see my kid !!! and QBS
even refuses to let me take them to the hospital !!! All because of
u amma, u want to demean QBS and talk whatever comes to your
mind. Do u realize how it affects me??" Daddy placates. Now
Durga cries - "he blames me for every thing? don't I have dreams
about my grandson??" Poor daddy runs from one to another.
Finally Durga decides to go to Tilaga's place and bring back QBS
with the kid...

Episode No 550 Friday 7/8/09

Maniac gets smart as usual - goes to Tilaga's house and
nicely kombu seevufies - Tells them that Viswa is a real
pervert - talks about how Viswa made him listen to the
cootchi cooing - Kirtana has a sane question - "avar thaan
kekka sonnar nna, neenga kettingalaa??" Maniac says that
the moment he heard a few lines, he disconnected. As usual
Athai does jalra to Maniac and maniac takes a decision about
Megs' wedding - "inimel dont even think of getting Megs
married to Viswa." Tilaga prooves that she is the mother of
QBS - " let us go and confront - right away..." Megs tries to stop
but Tilaga is a blind snake now ( enna temper ithu?? yaarO
oruthar vanthu yethO sonna odane dance aaduvingalaa???)
So Megs go along with Tilaga.

Tilaga goes and talks dime a dozen to Lachu - Lachu has no clue
in the beginning but later comes to know that Viswa made
maniac listen to the conversation. Tilaga shouts like mad,
Lachu tries to calm her down but we see an older QBS in Tilaga -
( intha amma lakshnam ipdi irukku, ivanga enge QBS ai
thirutharathu??) Finally Lachu says that Maniac's money has
won over love - " u wont like Viswa now, we have no money,
he has no job....maniac has money..." Tilaga gets more mad
and says that there will be no marriage between Megs and Viswa.
Megs tries to plead but both moms are beyond caring !!!

Tilaga comes back and dissemintes the info - QBS jumps
saying that maniac is not giving any free money -"akka has to
pay back everything !!!" Megs cries, runs inside the room and locks
herself. Rest of the clan pounds on the door - finally Megs opens
the door and says that she will not punish her family for her
sorrow. Now, the clan is bent upon talking to Viswa since he
did not have the luxury of watching Tilaga's kathakali.

Now it is time to inform maniac. Tilaga goes to maniac's
house and tells him all - Lachu calling Tilaga clan as slaves
of maniac' money - Maniac acts innocent - Samy watches the
drama with interest. Now Tilaga asks "THE" question which
maniac wanted to hear -"thambi why don't u marry Megs?"
Maniac has a wicked smile...

Episode No 551 Monday 10/8/09

Starts with Tilaga asking maniac -"will u marry my daughter?" Maniac is
thrilled, but does not want to show his elation. Tilaga further explains -
" I know that u are in love with some one. But, u even went to the extent
of committing suicide for Megs - if u loved that girl so much, you would
not have done this !!! Also, you have not told that girl about your feelings.
Since Megs has been linked with you......even if she marries any one else
...her life will be hell ..." ( apdi pOdu, Tilaga parava illye??? vera yaarO
petha ponnu epdi pona unakku enna??? athu sari, un Megs ithai accept
pannippaalaa??) Maniac condescends ( athu sari - ayyO paavam, martyr
nee , Roja will erect a statue 😳) Samy watches all this and has an
expression which describes Roja's mind - ada paavi Tilaga, aadu vettaravanai
thaan nambum, hmmmmmm - Tilaga leaves , maniac beams - Rojaaaaaaa
mission accomplished !!

Lachu is busy moottai kattufying - crying - dhadi and viswa are told
to pack as well - "namakku intha Madras vendam, namba oorukku
polaam " - justification??? "we came here for Megs and athu nadakkathu
nnu aachu, so lets go. If I stay here , thinking about her will kill me "
Viswa educates -"amma, me out in bail, not acquitted , I have to sign in
the police station !!! " Dhadi does chyangg chakk . Finally Lachu says that
she needs to leave this house -" Megs namkku paartha veedu....." Dhadi
asks son to search for a new house - asap

Tilaga is happy and so buys fruits. Sezhi comes there - Tilaga announces
her victory -"mania has agreed to marry Megs yeyyy yipppeeee" Sezhi
looks happy as well - nalla rich macchan vantha vendam nnu solluvenaa?? -
but voices his opinion - " I am not sure if megs will agree !!" Tilaga says that
she is all set for a RKO - "long before Megs told me that she will accept
my choice of a groom.... I will do some emotional blackmail and make her
accept. Sezhi offers to drop mommy.

Durga comes to see QBS - Paatti is giving some medicine tothe baby and
welcomes Durga - "unga DIL kku baby kku medicine kudukka theriyalai !!!"
Durga agrees "ya sure, but she sure knows to sccot the hospital with out
telling any one.." Goes on to say that COD is very upset that he is not able
to be with his kid - "eppovum yettikku pOttiya yethanum seyyare?" Megs and
Paati also agree with Durga . QBS has usual illogical arguments - finally says
that she is the mother of the kid - "only I have all the rights - Only if I introduce
COD as my baby's father......my baby will know him .." Well, the whole lot is
stunned. Durga is livid - asks QBS - "so, if u do not call COD as the father of
this kid, he is not the father? some one lese becomes the father?" Appeals
to the rest about her behaviour and leaves. Paati and Megs chide QBS but
she looks as if she did no mistake ( ayyo intha ponnu temper um, pechum ...
sariyaana sicko Tilagaaaaaaaaaaa parenting lessons ai miss panni ipdi
enga kazhuthai arukkiriyeeeeee..)

Episode No 552 Tuesday 11/8/09

Tilaga and Sezhi come back home - looking all happy. The
house looks as if it just faced a tempest - the initiator of the storm
looks as if she is the wronged party (uh huh) Well, to cut a long
story short, Tilaga gets briefed about QBS raising doubts about
the parentage of her son. Tilaga is upset - starts shouting at QBS -
" ipdi oru temper unakku enge irunthu vantha thu??? ( Tilaga, un
QBS kku paternity test vendaam, she is your splitting image -
nee poi Lachu kitte kathiniye , apdithaan ithuvum) Goes on to say
that COD might just leave her if she continues this attitude. QBS is
ready for that -" Ipdi oru life enakku vendam, I will be very happy
living alone..." Now Megs reminds her about the eloping part and
asks her -" so u forgot all that and want to separate for a small
problem?"QBS is pushed inside and Tilaga spills her news -
tells Megs that she has talked to maniac and he has agreed to
marry Megs. Megs is shocked (surprised!!!) that maniac agreed
for this proposal. Sezhi asks her to consider this proposal -
(antha money ellam namakku free akka, need not pay back..)
Megs goes in to the room and locks herself.

Lachu, dhadi and Viswa are moving house - busy activity -
Megs calls - Viswa is not around and Lachu picks up. Tells
Megs that they left Tiruchur just for her and Viswa suffered a lot
because of her -" u have paid us back nicely. We treated you like
our DIL and look at how your family treats us.. we have nothing
now.." Megs wants to talk to Viswa but Lachu says that she does
not want her son to suffer any more and diconnects. Megs tries
again but Lachu switches off the mobile. Megs cries.

Lachu and dhadi are going to the new house in an auto. Lachu
keeps talking about their life in Tiruchur -" royal aa irunthOm, intha
oorukku vanthu..ipdi.." dhadi tries to console her..... As the auto goes,
Lachu sees maniac standing outside his house. Lachu gets down and
goes to maniac. Shouts at him -" u are such a selfiish guy. Just for
your happiness, you destroyed our whole family. We are left in the
streets....I am telling you now.... nee nallave irukka maatte, ratham
kakki thaan sethu pove.." Collects some road dust and throws at
maniac. Maniac tries to say that Viswa has poisoned their mind...
Lachu is beyond caring. Samy looks all upset....finally Lachu is
dragged to the auto by dhadi. Maniac sends samy to follow them -
I need to know the new address, only then I can send the wedding
invitation.."

Karuna comes back home - all upset. His boss, who is a woman
shouted at him for his mistake and suspended him. His dad says
that it is not good right now -"antha Kirtana kku raasi sari illai..."
Dad goes out and mom is ready to feed him. Intha Meenkshi kku
moolai ye illai - appeals to son - how Kirtana can not be blamed
for his suspension....how he has to respect women.... Karuna, the
most affectionate son just demands food.....

Episode 553 Wednesday 12/8/09

Sundaram's house - discussion about Megs/ Maniac wedding
(athu sari, ungalukku ethukku athu??) Sezhi happily announces
his mommy's victory -"mommy has talked to maniac and he has
agreed to marry Megs.." All are happy and talk about clubbing it
with Kirtana's wedding. Athai is livid and can't digest the news -
ayyo da, if Megs marries that fellow, she will have a raja boga
vazhkkai...nadakka vida koodathu.." So , does some sweet talking -
"why this hurry?? let Kirtana's wedding happen..just now Megs
has gone through a bad relationship..she and Viswa.... so might
as well wait.." Thus saying goes out to buy veggies. Sundaram
says that athai has some ulterior motive - "engiyO idikkuthu.."
Sezhi as usual supports athai - " her reasoning is valid !!''
Sundaram says that such reasoning from some body else
can be appreciated -"coming from Vadivu...." Pounu says that
Vadivu is adept at cheating people -"nambikkai throgam panrathile
avangalai minja aal illai " Sezhi wants some 'padam varainthu
bagangalai kurikkum" explanation .Sundaram says that he
pitied vadivu and brought her from the old age home -" she
made my daughter run away with you !!!" Sezhi gets annoyed and
shouts -" so, all this talk is to insult me?" Sundaram tries to explain -
" this was just an example... nothing to demean you.."
But Sezhi storms out. Pounu draws Kavi aside and tells her that
she needs to be careful with Vadivu.

COD 's house. COD wants to go and see his baby but Durga stops
him -" it will be better if u do not go there for some time - until
your wife realaizes her mistakes.." Both father and son probe
further -" ange enna nadanthathu, sollu.." Durga keeps refusing.
TTddaaaayynngggg Pushpa comes ( kazhugukku mookile
verkkumaam ..ayyo Pushpa ..enna timing !!!) Congratulates
COD and wants to go along with him to see QBS and the baby.
Now Durga shouts -" wont u listen to me?? do not go.." Finally
she spills -" yesterday I went to apologize and bring QBS back.
But she kept fighting ...finally.... she said that as a mother she has
the rights and it is she who has to introduce COD as the father
to her kid !!" Even the patient Sadasivam is agitated. COD wants
to call QBS but Sadasivam opts to go in person - goes with COD
to meet QBS and Co.

Megs is sulking. Kirtana tries to draw her out but Megs is
mooning. Kirtana's friend Hema comes . After some initial
talks, wants Kirtana to put in a word to her would be hubby
Karuna -" I need to do a project in a Financial company...can u
ask Karuna?' Kirtana says that she does not have to call Karuna -
"justgo to his office and introduce yourself as my friend...he will
do every thing.." Hema leaves. Tilaga comes and gets to know
the scenario. Advises Kirtana that she needs to inform Karuna -
" u can not take such liberties !" Kirtana calls karuna's house and
balu picks up the phone. Kirtana addresses karuna as Karuna and
informs what she has done. Balu shouts at her -" how can u just
send your friend to his office? u should have checked with him
before u did that !!! and u keep calling him by name..." Kirtana
is angry and shouts back - " u are too much..as if this is a big deal...
I am disconnecting..." disconnects and is morose. At the other end,
Balu is shocked " enna temper?? uh huh, I am Balu the great !!!"

Episode No 554 Thursday 13/8/09

Karuna's house - Kirtana shouts back at Balu who is stunned.
Kirtana kneads her hands a bit and calls Karuna in his mobile.
Tells him that her friend Hema will be at his office -" she needs
help to finish her project. I took the liberty of sending her. And I
called to inform you this.Your dad picked up and said some
idiotic things !!!" Karuna flares as well -"how dare u call my dad
an idiot?? And how can u send some one to my office with out
informing me?? U are a lady after all.." Kiratana says that he also
talks like his dad and disconnects. Karuna comes down and tells his
dad about his shouting at Kirtana. Dad says that Karuna has to pacify
Kirtana, somehow - " wedding is nearing .... office ..suspension...
pacify her and make up..."

Maniac at home - has asked a private detective - Ram by name
to come home. Maniac wants Viswa followed - 24 X 365 - "give
me the whole thing, ok?" Viswa's snap is given. Ram leaves. Samy
is skeptical.

Kirtana - in an auto - manages to catch her friend Hema and tells
her that Karuna is away - " hisoffice told me that he has gone to
kanchipuram, so do not go today.." As both are talking Karuna
comes - Hema is dispensed after some asadu vazhinjifying from
Karuna. Karuna asks Kirtana to come with him - First she refuses
but he convinces her saying that he had a problem at work and so
did not go to the office -"antha tension le un kitte kathitten.."
Takes her along.

Maniac is getting ready to go to work - ayya semai jolly mood -
Samy asks "why?? all this tamashaa?" Maniac says that he is
meeting Megs for the first time after his consent to marry her.
Samy pours ice cold water saying that Megs may not accept this
proposal -" all the while she respected you because she believed
that you really wanted to get married to Viswa. But now..with this.."
Maniac says that he has thought about every thing - " I know how
to deal with Megs and Viswa .wait and watch... all this will end in
our wedding.." Samy is again skeptical..
