Karan and Bua's Bubble

This scene both troubled and touched me. Let me begin with Bua... It's not a "crime" to be single😕 But, the "God" people like Bua and HP think a girlz life is not "complete" without a hubby and baache/waache. They feel it is their duty/karma to ensure their kids/neices etc. are well settled. We the children may not appreciate such intervention, but it comes from a good place. And Bua does not know that Arohi loves Arjun and that Karan once had "evil" intentions towards Arohi. Also, Bua has haq over Arohi - haq from having helped raise her. Haq to intervene on her behalf - also Arohi never said to Bua when the issue last arose that she was not interested in K.S. - just htat there was misunderstanding and that proposal was for Abhay not K.S. There is infact ample reason for her to see if Karan is interested in Arohi. (1) They appear to understand each other and work well together (2) Karan has helped out the Sharma family with its troubles including arranging Sur ki shaadi (3) Karan appears to be very respectful. (4) Arjun isn't even on Bua's radar as a candidate.

As for Karan's delusion - first we have consider he isn't 'mango people', he is 'khaas'. And as a SuperSTAR he is daily surrounded with sycophants like Ms. Malika

even Abhay goes along with whatever KS says. I still remember the scene where he fired someone for giving him bad news. So, with all these vacuous girls screaming "IIIIIIII LLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEE UUUUUU KKKAAARRRAAANNNN"

heheh 😉😆 outside his concerts and writing him such ridiculous notes, he must think he is indeed "khaas" - such that if he turns on the charm he can win any woman including Arohi. Also, Arohi has forgiven him and he is mistaking her friendship/caring nature for something more. Given this context - can we really blame him for thinking Arohi loves him? Especially, now with Bua fueling his fantasies with by saying Arohi talks about him a lot. But, the thing about "unrequitted" love is how the individual reacts when they are confronted with the truth - that the one they love does not love em back? Do they become like Glen Close's character in "Fatal Attraction" trying to destroy the rival or the person who rejected them? or Do they become like Neil Nitin Mukesh's character in New York - someone who quietly walks away and later tries to help without any malice. Hmm - for now it could go either way, so lets watch and see.
