He venu=tured into Bengali films as aproducer and actor. His film was a flop... and during that time he lost some good assignments in Bollywood.

Im my humble opinion.. he's a highly overrated singer. Did not deserve so many awards...

Once upon a time he was the best after Kishore Kumar and very nice singer !! Gave us hits after hits !! 😆

its very difficult to sustain your popularity & position in bollywood......that's why so many good singers have gone into oblivion....

i like his voice quality and wants to her his voice again but i don't think so his voice will suit to any new generation boys

He was no legend. Just a copy-cat nasal, singer. His fame is similar to Saas-bahu shows. When nothing good was there, people got used to cheap stuff. When good singers emerged, he faded away.

He had no variety at all so comparing him to Kishore da is a sacrilege.
