Hi guys. Still travelling. will be back home this evening. just managed to grab hold of a comp and net access very briefly to update on the response i got from sp. Just called sp offices in Mumbai. Caleed on 66305555 spoke to somebody and asked why they are hell bent on moving the show in spite of so much feed back to the contrary from the viewers and whether the viewers opinion don't matter at all to SP. was answered politely by one lady who said she will pass on the message to the concerned people and that the timings are still being decided. I asked her that if the decision is still under consideration why the hell are they advertising it for the afternoon slot and upsetting the viewers further. Should they not hold on till the final decision is made or are they just telling us that as a sop to keep us quiet since we are repeatedly calling in which case i am wasting my time. then she asked me to call 6722777 and ask for Charmaine or Sonali and speak to them. So i called that number which turned out to be the response dept. she refused to give her name but asked for my name and telephone number. She was polite but i still felt like i was being politely stone walled. i told her the same thing i had told the other person but to everything i said i just got a standard answer that it will be passed on to the concerned person. It was like talking to a polite stuck recording. I also told her that SP had a complete disconnect with its audience and that it is time they woke up and smelt the coffee. I told her that the way SP had been treating this show, it is as if this show is on some other channel which they are competing with rather than their own show. That i have never seen a channel work so hard at destroying its own show!!! I also told her that i am an older person, I am a doctor and a professional and that there are many people like me who watch this show bsides all the young adults who will not so readily call or email them unlike the young adults but who are also very upset with the way SP is behaving and i felt that i should call and let them know that this show has a wide and varied viewership but it is not the profile of an afternoon audience. We are all at work and will not be able to watch the show at any other time and that i watch no other show on SP and will stop watching it altogether i stop watching this show and that there will be many others like me.
She again said that she will pass it on and nothing more. so i don't know how much it will help but guys please keep calling with different names and phone numbers 'cos SP seems to be rather deaf and we have to make a really really LOUD noise to be heard!!!!!
Gotta go now. Will catch with whats happening when i get back home. KEEP fighting!!!!!!!
