Menu is conducting a meeting. Hissy is the only one who
is allowed to sit - Jenny the 70mm laptop stand, Giri and
a few other nameless secretaries stand guard ( Anthony
vara poraan, suttu thalla poraan - BG by Roja - recent aa
Valli vara poraa song ketta Roja) Menu says some thing that
Roja has been asking "oru vazhiya namba MM city project ai
start panna pOrOm.... we have to finish as per schedule" Hissy
is not happy ..Menu asks "enna ppa, dentist visit mudichittiyaa??
hiss a maatengare?" Hissy says that he is the happiest and
the most sad man - right now " That Abbbbbbi is starting her
project !!" Menu says that they can not control others -"we shall
execute our job well in advance.." Giri chips in "what if Aathaa
finishes before us?" Menu roars "no way, we should not allow that.
Ours should be the first satellite city " Hissy has another doubt
talks as if he is Wall Street smart -" the global depression has
affected land and construction costs !! not sure if all those people
who booked with us would pay up??!!" Menu says that even if
they incur losses, theproject must go on. Then she asks about
minister uncle " Abbi yoda siblings ai valaichu pOttu antha company
ai namba kitte kondu varuvennu sonninga?? what happened?
Vazhakkam pole OOthikkichaa?? Sari .... Sankarapandi?? enge??"
Hissy does his usual hissing and asks for more time . Menu has
a look which says "unakku time kuduthu kuduthe enakku vayasu
koodi pochu " Ravi , another secretary of Menu calls ( athaane parthen,
enge da oru ticket kaanume nnu !!) Informs Menu that MM city
pproject can not take off - ' stay madam stay..vaangittanga madam
vaangittanga.." Of course Menu does not need the help of Sherlock
Holmes - knows that aatha and minister uncle have started their game
plan.

This part is worth just 4 lines -aatha buys dresses for darling dad -
half the shop is emptied ..Eashu cries ... prooves that he is OQ's
legal hubby .... visions of his ditching OQ and the kids... Aatha gloating
as to how handsome her dad is ... suited and booted Eashu is likely
to head Abi Constructions !!! ( Rojaaaa enna mma unakku vantha
sothanai?? aatha dress selection, appa playing shopping cart ...
hmmm)

Menu is pacing while her cronies stand around. Hissy comes with the
lawyer whose looks sing "London bridge is falling down,falling down,
faaling down, my fair lady ..." Menu is in a hurry to know the details.
The lawyer says that it is not just one stay -" there are some 5 notices
hanging in our site...TT has filed a Public Interest petition....some other
four have filed that they were threatened by you.." Menu heaves a sigh
"uh huh, public interest case?? India le until now not even one
public interest litigation has seen day light !" Lawyer "tsk tsks" at Menu's
ignorance and starts to "padam varainthu Bagangal kurikka" -
"madam, civil case, minimum 2 yrs for judgement..until then u cant
place a new brick, gotcha?" Menu can not understand -" we paid money
and bought those lands?? and we bribed all and sundry !!! Hissy, look,
my MM city project can not be delayed ..not by a single day... do whatever
is possible.." Hissy tries to say some thing ..but Menu is not interested in
his excuses...

Aatha and appa - ayyo Thollai yen ya arukkare?? Eashu mandaiyai
poda porathaa?? time fix pannitiya?? tomorrow is Friday....OQ is
in semai mood..bhagawaneeeeeeeeeeeee - both come to a photo
studio . Aatha has an appointment....pose thaan .....Aatha does not look
at the camera - leans on daddy darling and looks at his face !!!
Roja goes to the nearest wall .. wants to do damaal damaal but decides
against - neighbor will call the security and say that people are
hitting nails on the wall at night !!! "Photo shoot" - in aatha's words -
gets over. Prints are ordered and aatha leaves with appa. Robot is
shadowing aatha - after her car leaves, he gets down from his car
and stands out in the open - Kondai gets educated on Eashu's two
timing abilities - "ivan thaan Hissy appa , aatha kkum ivan thaan appa
....ippo aatha hissy family aiyum adikkaraa pole irukke...Hissy adi
vaanguvaan pole irukke da..." Kondai has a 'could not careless" look
and asks about the next destination . Robot says that he is hungry "en face
ai paaru daa.." Kondai makes the most innocent statemnt " nalla illai sir"
- Ayyo Kondai kanna , yen chellame, nee epdi da ipdi padkku padakku nnu
unmai yai puttu puttu vaikkare??? Roja just loves you for this quality...
chellam da nee, ore second le enge ellar manasaiyum apdiye sollitte !!
Ok , while Roja is laughing her guts out hearing Kondai chellam's innocent
statement, Hissy calls robot and asks him to come to the usual meeting place.
Kondai plays driver.

Menu is happily rocking in her chair. Hissy and Giri come and Hissy is
curt " why did u call me?" Menu says that she has to discuss about the
project. Hissy is angry that Menu has entrusted the responsibility to that
advocate who "tsk tsk s" at every thing. Menu asks " so, u are doing
nothing, eh?" Hissy says that he can not wash his hands off like that -
" I am moving my coins...in my own way.." Now Menu shows her mettle -
a true business woman - guess, she did not take shelter in Aatha's Business
Academy - even during tsunami - " look Aadhi, if I can not start the project
as scheduled, I will drop it. Or I will shift it to some other place.." Hissy
stammers big time.."athu epdi?? you know my investment? what happens
to that?" Menu says that he may not be able to invest a second time but
she can - " and as for your money, I have no contractual obligations...it is
your funeral..." Hissy is lost but manages to have a say " in a week's time,
I will set right every thing. I will come and see you only after that.." Menu
says that if he comes back as promised , the project will see the daylight..
" otherwise, I will drop thisplace and take it elsewhere ". Hissy leaves ,
Giri follows...Hissy kkum Menu kkum ladai ladai started !!!

Hissy is summoned by that financier - the bald guy who misbehaved
with Ganga's sister - antha aal per enna ppa??? can any one recall??-
He pours a drink to Hissy and analyzes his life and his failures -
" I know every thing ..even Menu's idea of dropping the project....How
do u want me to help? Sankarapandi yai thookidavaa?" Hissy says
that he has other plans. Now baldy points out - " your life revolves
around 3 women. Your wife, Aatha and Menu - wife should be a doormat
but your wife Usha is a rebel. Your enemy aatha should be under your
thumb but she is one up on you. The women whom you are eying, Menu,
is going away from you !! Basically u do not know to handle your women.
I am experienced, i can help you " Hissy is at his tether's end - yethai thinna
pitham theliyum?? - falls at baldy's feet and wants lessons about life -
"I want to stamp these three women. Aadhi should never loose, teach
me life...give me all your experience.." Baldy pours more drinks -
guess that is the first lesson.!!!

nee - dama dama dama dama - Roja beats the drum and announces
- "my dear fellow Alangolangal sufferers , DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR
TODAY'S EPISODE " That done....

TT is addressing a meeting - Thooya Tamizh le he calls every one
as fools - incidentally,there are a dozen people who nod their heads
at regular intervals !!! He talks about the rich becoming richer and the
poor becoming poorer.....uh huh....finally he said some thing which made
Roja sit up " if u do not keep up with what is happening around you,
you will become stagnant ..chekku maadu mathiri aagi viduveergal "
Roja is convinced that Thollai visits this thread - ithu Roja dialog !!!
Thozhar shouts from the bottom of his stomach and he needs to use
the loo ( ippidi kathinaa?? incontinence , adult diapers..the works TT, ok?)
Robot and Kondai Kannan are watching this. Robot sees TT moving away
and decides to follow ( antha gun enge da?? irukka?) He goes and enters
the Ladies' by mistake . Oru amma thoratharaanga - murathaale puliyai
virattina Tamzih amma pole !! - Robot runs for dear life and asks Kondai
to drive away - Kondai chooses to clarify some thing but robot whips him
to move. TT comes out and sees the galaatta . He is told that some one
entered the ladies' - TT says that it could even be a mistake...goes back
to grind some more ( araicha maavai araipOmaa?? thuvaicha thuniyai
thuvaipOmaa?? - BG by Roja)

Pazhaa pochu - Roja escaped from that meeting and ended up in another .
This time aatha has the Builders' Association meeting in her house.
Thollai is by the side. Vichu and Saguni are also there. Aatha says that
Hissy has to be ripped off his membership - "he has not bothered to show
the accounts...no response....let us drive him away from the association.."
Some one says that Hissy sent an envoy but Aatha refused to recognize .
Vichu says that Aarthi is not a member and such meetings can have only
the members. ( Thollai??? ) Some one wants to send another warning
letter but Thollai interferes - " I can not talk but since this is Abi's house
i want to say some thing . Another warning letter laam velaikki aagathu"
( Aatha veeda irunthaa enna?? Association meeting le members mattum
thaane irukkanum??? Rojaaaaaaaaaa, Aatha Business Academy kku
syllabus is different - you nut, when will you learn??? grrrr) Finally it is
decided that Hissy will be ripped off and then a court notice will follow.
Every one except Thollai leaves. TT arrives - says that he has a feeling of
being followed by some one - " I am worried about Sankarapandi's safety.
Aatha, u better take over" Aatha says that it was TT who suggested his den
for Sankarapandi. TT says that the situation has changed. Thollai says that
his friend has a haunted house " I will keep him under my wing." TT leaves.
Aatha says that minister uncle is next to God " we better be very careful.
Thollai promises that he will do the needful..

Asst. Commissioner of Police visits Menu - with the bag left by
Anthony - Menu extends a lukewarm welcome - "ayyo da neeyaa??
marupadi vanthuttiyaa??" - AC can feel the "warmth" but has no
option. Shows the bag to Menu who does not care to touch it !!
"What is in that bag??" AC says that she has another secretary
tucked away somewhere -"all the paper cuttings which sport you
and your daily schedule is all here, left by the culprit ." Now Menu
shows some interest -"so u caught that guy?" AC has to admit -
"no he escaped, got only this bag...but we will definitely get him"
Menu has one of those smiles - the one Roja always doles out
when she sees Thollai on the screen - "aama, u keep saying
this!!! pidichittalum.." AC does not have the luxury of returning
the favor ( nee irunthaa enna, sethaa enna?? Thollai viewers
kooda serthu ennaiyum padutharathu!!) " Madam you need to
be more careful. Please do not inform the media about your
movements...pls do keep us posted.." Menu says that she has
efficient bodyguards "unlike you, they can take better care of me.
I will be safe...use all this energy in finding the culprit.." AC is
crestfallen -"hmm kindal??? unakku enna theriyum enga pressure
pathi?" - tries to say some thing else but Menu shows him the exit -
" hey enakku velai vetti illai?? I said Ok to every thing u said, right??
now get going.." AC leaves . 70 mm laptop holder Jenny has a
perplexed look " namba kazhuthu namba thalai le nikkumaa??"

Eashu visits Hissy and Gujju household - "enge di un arumantha puthran?"
Gujju makes a rude reminder - " he is your son too" Eashu repents
siring such a son - too late Eashu !! - Now, Roja kku oru unmai therinje
aaganum - which one of you went and complained to Thollai that
it has been a long time since u saw some empty challenges , out with
it, ok?? - time for that . Eashu narrates the story of Hissy aiming Aatha.
Gujju has that look which says "Aadhi, yenna da sothappitte?? ozhunga
shoot panna maattiyaa?" Hissy says that his maanam is going in the
kappal - "all are asking me about your settling in the chinna veedu" -
Roja blinks - chinna veedu?? ethu da chinna veedu?? nee than illegitimate,
theriyumaa?? - Rekha and Anu join forces. Eashu says that it is them
who should be ashamed. Finally says that he is planning to elevate aatha's
status . Gujju wants to know if he is going to "mike set pottu announce" to the
whole world about Aatha being his daughter. Eashu says"more than that. I am
going to give her a part of my property." Hissy hisses big time and says that
Eashu can go and fly kite - "u have already given every thing to me.." Arjun
comes there and says that both he and Eashu can go to the court saying that
Hissy threatened and made them sign. He tells daddy that the property should
be made in to 8 parts and each offspring must be given a share. Mano and Anu
have a flash light in their eyes. Finally Eashu says that if Hissy harms as much
as a nail of Aatha's ..." un thalai le idi vizhum, beware" storms out. Hissy tells
the camera - "epdi pirikkarennu paakaren" - knows that the viewers have gone
to sleep hearing him and so repeats that a few times.

Menu and Madhu - that D**N na na naa na naa na na naa naa... Menu says that
she will be away for 10 days and so plans to spend the whole day with him.
Love struck Madhu wants to tag along but Menu says that the business face of
hers is a force to reckon - " u are better off without seeing that" Madhu wants to
know how to push 10 days and Menu says that he needs to compose some music.
" keep that ready and i come back with a gift for you.." Kadalai varukkum time ..
haavvvvv that is Roja yawning.. na na naa na naaa na na naaa naa...

Thursday 9/7/09.

Menu is restless - tries to call someone ...walks around ...and daddy comes
out of his room (inge thaan irukkengalaa?? US pogalai??) Sounds very concerned
about his daughter. Wants to know what bothers her. Menu says that she
has a little problem in her business. Daddy says that he has not seen her
laughing -"romba naal aachu, nee sirichu !!! If the business is not doing well,
throw the towel, we can go back to the US " Menu , the mind reader who also
has her crystal ball handy consoles daddy - " So, u think that I lost my love
and so lost my concentration in the business?? U are wrong. MM city project le
oru chinna ( 4 stay... kaile oru diwali gun eduthundu oru kizhavan...chinna vaa??)
problem. Your daughter will not loose in any thing - be it love or business"
daddy is still not convinced. Bingo ..another guy arrives - none other than that
Prithvi who is drunk - Calls daddy a cheat " uncle, u brought me saying that you
will give Menu's hand but ditched me royally !!" Daddy says that Menu is in love
with some one else and will marry only him. Prithvi recalls Menu saying that she
will never fall in love -" so ippo u are in love?? well, that is some change... so I
will wait... you will start loving me....ennai mathiri oru slave hubby unakku
kidaippaanaa??' Menu says "buzz off, u are not my man.." Prithvi must be wearing
some multi colored spectacles - for him Menu looks as if she is the combination
of Sushmitha and Aishwarya - vows to marry her " if u plan to marry any one else...
I will kill u" The security are asked to dump the garbage " Gate kku veliye thalli
kathavai saathungappa " Menu dispenses daddy as Ravi comes - " need to talk
to my secretary daddy... can u leave us alone??' Daddy scoots. Ravi recites
Menu's schedule....

Anthony sports a different beard and wig - snow white - is watching Menu's house.
Thollai comes and wants to meet Menu . Tells the watchman and Ravi that he has
some news about Menu's life being in danger. Ravi says that they can take care
of her -" she is no mood to meet people....especially you...Aatha spy aa anuppichaala?
Thollai calls Ravi a fool and Ravi necks him out . Thollai beats a retreat ( Roja
sings - vanathai pole vallamai padaitha Menu vin secretary Ravi...Thollai kazhuthai
pidithu thalli Roja vai happy aakkiya Ravi..) Anthony watches all this - hiding. Now
Ravi does some thing that the police commissioner vetoed totally - stands outside and
tells someone over the phone that Menu is leaving for the US, the next day. Anthony
says that he needs to hurry up -"US aa??athukku mele anuppidaren.."

Adutha segment was pure pain. Saguni krishnan and his ambuli are cootchi cooing.
Ambuli is drunk and krishnan is scolding him. Anthony comes - he has changed his
wig - tells Saguni that he is leaving the next day -"going back to my place. Would
much rather live with my children..." hands over the dues. Saguni offers to make
adais. Ambuli uses his cell phone and captures Anthony. Goes to Anthony's room,
sees that he is packed and lies on the floor ..rolls ... underneath the cot, he sees the
photograph - Chellamma with her kids - suttufies the photo... ( the way Anthony says
" me leaving, pogattumaa etc.,etc.,...tomorrow is Friday.....Anthony kku sangu thaan
pole !! )

Hissy brings Rekha to a secluded spot - hisses big time about her dad and
Arjun giving him trouble -"these two are my greatest pains." Rekha says that
no one can do any thing to him -" I wont let u suffer...hmm my love for you is
still green..people may think bad of me but...." Hissy knows how to use her
( antha financier first lesson solli kuduthuttaraa??) Says that the only way is to
finish off Arjun - " dont worry about leaving our house after Arjun. i will be divorced..
u know what I mean?" Rekha looks shocked first but later the torch she carries for
Hissy bightens..agrees to finish off hubby darling....

Thooya Tamizh and Thollai - meeting in a God forsaken place -
TT is in a sad mood. The meeting starts normally. TT asks if all
is well with Sankarapandi.Thollai says that he is fine. Also tells
TT that his speech and meeting were well received. TT is in no
mood to celebrate. "enge ??? everyody compliments my talk, kai
thattittu avanga velai yai paarkka poidaraanga??? namba society
is plain dumbo.." Thollai says that there is one whole load of
people who work towards making the public fools ( You take
the cake with carton in that !!! Oru urupadaatha story ai chekku
mathiri innum yethanai varusham suthuve??? nee solriyaa??
ada poda punnakku ) TT is dejected that he does not have enough
followers for "Kala pani" - " people are selfish !!! No one cares
about the rich getting richer and poor getting poorer!! The desired
change...will it ever come?" Thollai is surprised that TT has become
pessimistic ( ada poyya.... engalai vida vaa??? neeyum ippO mudippe,
nalaikki mudippe nnu ..vex aagittom..) Tells TT that people will wake
up and fight for this cause ( Roja gets pepped up as well. IF lounge le
irunthu Sun TV office varai procession polaamaa?? Thollai kazhuthai
pidichi nerukki, ithai izhuthu moodanum nnu dharna pannalaama?)
TT is not convinced (neither are we - life time Thollai ithu) Thollai
peps up TT and tells him that he will drop him back. TT says that he
needs to be alone for some time - " you go, I will come later" Thollai
goes to his bike and TT calls again..Thollai comes back and TT talks
some thing incoherent ( Sangu yarukku ppa?? TT yaa, Anthony aa??)
"Thollai, I just have an intution, this could be our last meeting " ( Roja
is visibly mad now - yovvvv, nee mattum thappichu pOiduviyaa? ) Thollai
asks "are u scared of death?" TT says that he never fears death -"just that
I am fighting a loosing battle" Thollai says that the fruits of TT's efforts
will be enjoyed by the future generation -"appo unarvu poorvamaa ..
blah blah.." ( un nakkile dharbaiyai pottu posukkanum - ZH varalai
unakku, periya pista mathiri Tamizh kku kodi ppidikkare?? ) Finally
Thollai leaves...TT looks lost...

Hissy comes to Menu's place - to play driver to the airport I guess. The whole
jing bang is waiting outside - daddy says that Menu is in a video conference -
"does not want to be disturbed. Come, sit with us...neeyum Giri yum devudu
kakkalaam, more the merrier.." As Hissy enters the house, we see Anthony
waiting outside ( Thollai, common sense konjam kooda illiyaa unakku? that
house stands out like a sore thumb and one guy is standing near the gate
and watching... all the time ... oru security gumbal... no one will ask or see??)
Hissy gets a call and he comes out to the portico as the signal is not clear.
Well, he makes sure to inform Anthony that Menu's flight is at 3.30 and she
will leave home around 1 pm. Anthony vows - nth time - "nee innikki gaali di.."

Thollai is driving. Few people are doling out dharma adi to some one - and that
guy screams for help. Thollai, the Bhuddha stops the car and goes to help.Well,
it is none other than our Ambuli - and he is drunk. The reason for dharma adi??
He obviously asked some woman "variya?" Ambuli explains - " Nadikka variya
nnu ketten Thollai, athukkulle.... see I have a mental picture of my heroine and her
child . This woman fits the bill..and so.." Now that woman is excited about her
stardom. But Thollai disperses the crowd and takes Ambuli with him. Ambuli
talks dime a dozen ... Roja skips - he shows the photo of Chellamma with
kids and says that he suttufied it from his producer. Goes on to show the
producer's snap as well. Thollai gets excited and drags Ambuli " I have to
see this guy..."
