Bandini Bandini narrates the life of Santo, who was married off to an elderly man Dharmaraj. The serial revolves around the struggles in Santo's life. Lead actress Asiya Quazi does a superb job of her portrayal of the character. Bandini airs at 10pm on NDTV Imagine.

Asiya is doing a Superb Job Indeed considering Her first time acting in T.V !

But Ronit Da is Doing Fab Job too !

Ronit is a veteran but the fact that Aasiya is doing a good job goes to her credit considering how young she is (just 17 years old) and this being her very first show.  I dont think any other young new comer has got herself entrenched so quickly, except maybe Prachi Desai in KS.

She has picked up a LOT !!

Exactly my point... I think Bandini needs to be doing much better. RR, go out there and publicise it more👏

Is it the case that Ekta/BT/RR have decided to follow 'slow and steady wins the race' concept? Many of the serials on top 10 right now are new- like Choti Bahu and Yeh Rishta. So one cannot say how long they will continue to be in top 10. The only serious competition in terms of quality for Bandini I think is Zee's Agle Janam.


Aasiya definitely deserves credit. Does she comes on IF?


By the way, just curious, Sukhi... what were the other 4 shows?

RR and Aasiya had gone to Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Surat to promote this show among the Gujarati audience in the first two months.. but I think it's gaining ground quick now ..

No Aasiya is not yet on IF ... but RR has said he'll ask her to join!

the show is brilliant.

If this show was in Star Plus or Zee or Colours it would have done far better I think because many don't get NDTV imagine in their homes. Since the reach of the channel is itself limited, I guess he show has fewer viewers than the main rival channels.

They did not mention AJMBHK because it is rocking the trps !
