DK is the true male combination of the 70s sad/old ma + evil mother-in-law who were experts in playing mind games and possessively hovered over their sons with mad jealousy.

Don't know why Savita left DK, but his crazy insecure clinginess would be reason enough for anyone. Still not sure why she didn't maintain relations with her son though...I guess there are bigger skeletons in DK's closet which will emerge later.

I can bet all my millions that there won't be any skeletons worth guessing or pondering. If creatives can make Arohi save Daku Daddy to make Arjun realize his love for the girl, and then not even consider in later... then one can be pretty much sure the reason will be damn-squib.

LOL!! I know that, it's just not worth getting into the guessing game..they usually build all the hype up for nothing!! It's just that in a plausible story there needs to be a hell of a reason to severe relations with one's only child, but they'd probably just come up with a miserable excuse of an explanation.

Papaji sure managed to cause more damage than he initially intended. Despite not knowing that Savita is Arohi's Badi Ma he managed to attack her through the fiasco... not to mention that at the wedding he will get back at Arohi and the rest of Sharma family for slapping Punji/sending Nikhil to jail etc.

The beauty of it all is that while several perceptions will change overall (Arohi's perception of Savita re Arjun, Arohi's perception of Arjun and vice versa, Poorvi's view of Salil) DK will come out of this unscathed, atleast for now.
