A good serial at the wrong Time Slot

_K Street Pali Hill is one of Ekta Kapoor's "off- beat" serials, which has suspense, drama and action. Its not one of those typical SAAS – BAHU sagas which feature too much of family drama and fights in the family; but it's an off beat serial featuring a house of innocent criminals.

Imagine yourself engrossed in a Sydney Sheldon book, or Agatha Christy's thrillers, or the enchanted mysteries of Doyle… It's just the same here, only with the INDIAN TADKA. The serial is also not based on a big "parivar" which houses four generations. Its story revolves around the young generation of one of the richest entertainment tycoons in the city. Three friends, all of their surnames beginning with "K" – Kaul, Keshab and Khandelwal have a famous industry of clubs called the "K- Clubs". They have a past history which is really bad. Their history returns to them and hits them really hard. Lots of fights, deaths – murders and accidents, court cases and investigation happen around K Street of Pali Hill, where lies the "K – Mansion", which is the house of these three "Ks"…

Unfortunately this serial has a very wrong time slot. Its too late, 11:30 pm and the repeat is also at 4:30 pm in the afternoon, and because of that, there are many people who yet don't even know that this serial airs from Monday to Thursday on Star Plus. Ekta Kapoor's K Street Pali hill will appeal more to the young crowd. The serial is a must – see. It's a break from typical family drama stories from which people are bored of by now…

i completely agree wid u. K street is different frm other typical saas-bahu stuff n if some ppl r not seein it , its coz of da time slot.Its too late dat even if a person wanna watch it he cant.If it were given an earlier slot like dat of kavyanjali it would ve dne muchh better.K street is popular among all those who watch star plus.Its havin heavy publicity n ppl do know wat kstreet is.... not only this dey do say dat dey like kstreet but then even dey hardly watch it ..coz of its time slot.

how cum mannyy ppl watched kkr before mouli ganguly death????

Its true dat bfore mouli's death in KKR many ppl watched it but dere was definately a fall in trps bfore as well.Mouli in her interview told dat KKR was on its way to end even when she was dere.KKR immediately flopped but da basic reason was not mouli's exit but da change in time slot. For 3 yrs it enjoyed high trps at 11.00 pm slot but da last yr went flat coz it had 11.30 pm time slot.

yeah I agree here in pakistan star plus lovers watch all the dramas fffrom KZK ti KTH. But due to time slot people are not supposed to watch this drama.

That was a great read. I feel K Street being a late night show is better because it adds more atmosphere to it when there are big episodes, eg. Vansh dying.

My favourite is a Saas Bahu Drama Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. But I also like K.Street Pali Hill because it is different to the rest.
