Meanwhile arjun came there.

"Are hasmukhlalji aap yaha ho..main aapko kabse dhund raha hu.."

sanjam crossing his eyebrows "kyu??"

"aap chaliye mere saath mein batata hu.."

"Abhi nahi..ruko tum.."

Arjun with his jaw set and holding sanjam's wrist, "abhi ke abhi chaliye yahase..warna aapko chamki ke chato ke saath meri laath aur ghuse bhi khana padega..." and whispered in his ears," hume jeevan ka picha karna hai aur tum yaha..."

Sanjam :"He he he he...ha ha chalo chalo..he he he" and again winked at chamki who made dirty face.

Sanjam and arjun headed for jeevan's tent.

Arjun:"Sanjam maamla jitna socha tha uss se kahi jyada pechida hai"

Sanjam:"Tumhari jeevan ya mahamantri se kuch baat hui?"

Both were making there way with difficulty because of the crowd.Today evening there was the MAHA AARTI.Very few people will leave utsav after that.And tomorrow people will enjoy the fair;so as such Tomorrow is the last day of utsav and so groups of devotees were pouring in.Bade dadaji was lending tents to the newly arrived.Kids were running around.kids were just loving the atmosphere coz there was no one to stop them as their elders were busy in utsav.they were shouting,playing pranks with one another and doing all sorts of things.Atmosphere was charged.

Arjun:"nai..wo jeevan pata nahi kyu dekh kar bhi andekha kar raha hai.aur mahamantri ke paas jane ka mauka milna aaj to bahot mushkil hai.."

Sanjam:"Arjun,tumne jo sanyogita aur prithvi ke shaadi ka jhooth usse kaha,shayd isiliye wo tumhe galat samajh raha ho.kyunki tab tak sachchai to utasv mein aaye har yatri ko patachal chuki thi."

Arjun: "ho sakta hai."

Arjun glanced here and there to confirm nobody is following them.Nobody should see them together.Till now if at all the enemy was guessing(due to their fight with madan) ,according to arjun's thinking,was that three of them(prithvi,pundir and himself) are there.nobody not even prithvi knew that sanjam was there.Sanjam as hasmukhlal was their trump card,he thought.

Morover,he had disguised as Gujarathi man.If someone suspected him,then he'll have to change his disguise! "uski chinta nahi hai",arjun thought to himself and smiled.Afterall, he was the MASTER OF DISGUISES!!!

Sanjam: " samajh nahi aa raha khatra sirf Delhi aur uski guptachar vyawastha ko hai ya phir santoshi maa ke utsav me aaye logon ko...."

Arjun: "aisa bhi to ho sakta hai ki dono jude ho?"

Sanjam(confused): "Meri samajh mein to kuch nahi aa raha..."

Arjun(determined): "samajhna hoga sanjam,samajhna hoga.hamare paas samay bahot kam hai.hame kuch na kuch to karna hi hoga."

Sanjam: "haa..arey ye prithvi aur pundir kaha reh gaye?"

Arjun: "wo rajkumari sanyogita aur payal ko laane gaye hai..par..abtak to unhe aajana chahiye tha."

They reached Jeevan's tent.The security outside jeevan's tent was doubled.They came to know that Jeevan was with mahamantri and maharaja Abhay singh for some urgent meeting and Madan was still unconscious.they asked the sainik outside to let them just go inside and atleast have a look at him,may be they'll get some clue,but sainik told them that strict orders were given to them that nobody should be permitted inside.They waited for jeevan.

Deep in the trees.....

And old man was coughing.Bouts of coughing were following one after the other.His mouth was dry.He didnt have a drop of water since yesterday.Neither a morsel of food.Today is the Maha aarti and Tomorrow is the last day of Santoshi maa's utsav.He was feeling weakness growing in him ,but his weakness was not a least capable of defeating his determination and dedication for his work,his Kartavya.He was tied to a Tree with a rope.That rope had a special type of knot which he was not able to open as his hands also were tied.He was cursing the two kids for tying him there and morever,PRITHVIRAJ CHAUHAN for his plan to make the utsav unsuccessful.He can't let that happen;NO!!! he WON'T let that happen!!! He was HASMUKHLAL,The Sarpanch of Seetapur.

Arjun and sanjam were moving to and fro.Each passing moment was making them more and more restless.They had waited for longtime now.There was no sign of Jeevan returning to his tent.Madan was still unconscious and the Sainiks were not letting them meet him.

"Bassss...ab bahot hogaya...ab aur samay barbaad karne se kuch haasil nahi hoga."

"Hame kuch aur sochna hoga.Iss tarah jeevan ki raah dekhne mein hum aur samay vyatit nahi kar sakte."

"Hame ekbaar un jasooson ke tamboo mein jaana chahiye."

"Jaha payal aur sanyogita par humla hua tha?"

"Nahi waha nahi..wahipar prithvi aur madan ke bich ladai hui aur madan ne jeevan par bhi hamla kiya tha..Dushman ye baat janta hoga ki wahapar jeevan aur uske sainiko ki kadi nazar hogi.usne waha se saare saboot mita diye honge..hame us tamboo me dekhna hoga jaha payal pe hamla hua tha,jab wo andar jhak rahi thi "

"Arjun,par agar Jeevan bhi unse mila hoga toh???"

Arjun in what-to-do and what-not-to pose.

Arjun: "Sanjam,tumhe kya pareshani hai?"

Sanjam(shocked at his reaction): "pareshani...!!!???"

Arjun(with jaw set): "ha haa pareshani! jab bhi mai koi paheli suljhaneki koshish karta hu,tum apni Moti buddi ka prayog kar us paheli ko aur uljha dete ho"

Sanjam: "Mai samasya ke sabhi pehlu par roshni daal raha tha..aur buddi meri moti nahi bal ke tumhari hai..hame sari chijo ko dhyaan me rakh kar soch samajhkar kadam badhana hoga.warna sab gadbad hojayegi.."

Arjun: "Mitr mere, sochne samajhne ke liye jyada samay nahi hai.Ek waqt par Kisi ek ke dimaag ke hisab se chalenge to behtar hoga.ha salah mashwara dena thik hai..aaa.. Ab tum tay karo"

Sanjam(Angrily,to himself): "Har waqt majaak sujhta hai isko."

Arjun: "kuch kaha?"

Sanjam: "Kya keh rahe the tum?Dimaag?matlab,mujhe hi sochna padega..."

Arjun(unknowingly): Ha...;aaa?kya kaha tumne?

Sanjam: "Kuch nahi, ab jaldi chalo.hame dono tamboo ki talashi leni hai."

Pundir and payal set out to search for prithvi and sanyogita.Pundir was very much worried about both of them.it could be easily made out from his expression.Even payal was worried for them,but somewhere she knew that with prithvi being there,nothing can happen to sanyogita.Also somewhere she was enjoying walking long miles alone with pundir,with no one around.She couldn't understand this new feeling. 'what's wrong with her? why she didn't want to leave utsav soon?' She did tell sanyogita that she's worried about Nagaon,but at heart she knew that it was not the only reason. 'why did she enjoyed his attention towards herself?his concern for herself?' "Pata nahi kal kya hoga?",thought she,"jab pundir ko pata chalega ki hum ek aam ladki nahi Nagaon ki Rajkumari hai?" "Kya wo humse pehle ki tarah hi bartav karega ya phir.....ya phir rajkumari ki tarah?" "Kya wo humse duri banaye rakhega?" She just couldn't bear the thought. "Agar aisa hoga to hum usse kabhi iss baat ka pata nahi chalne denge....parr...kabhi na kabhi to pata chalega hi.." "Hey bhagwan,ye hume kya hogaya hai?hum kyu aisa soch rahe hai?" "Kahi hume pundir se....."

"Payal...",she was broken from series of her thoughts by pundir. "Ha...",sudddenly breaking from her thoughts," Kuch kaha tumne pundir?" Pundir: "Kabse dekh raha hu..Kuch khoi khoi si lag rahi ho..Kya soch rahi ho?chinta mat karo...Rajkumari sanyogita thik hogi..Hum jald hi unhe dhoond lenge" Payal smiled.

Pundir : "Chota pahad ya phoolon ka bagicha?ya talaab?ya phir Sarson ke kheth ya ganno ke ...."

Payal : "Ganno ke kheth..."

Pundir : "kya?"

Payal : " mujhe lagta hai hume ganno ke kheton se shuru karna chahiye..unka rath bhi wahi phasa tha...ho sakta hai nashe me wo wahi gaye ho jis rastese wo aaye?"

Pundir : "par mujhe lagta hai,hume pahad se shuru karna chahiye..wahase sabhi ore dekhne mein aasaani hogi...."

Payal(cutting him short) : "par hum pahad par kheton se hokar bhi jaa sakte hai na?"

Pundir : " par uss Anita ne to kaha tha.."

Payal : "Achcha! ab meri baat se jyada mehatva tum uski baat ko dete ho.."

Pundir : "kya?main to bas.."

Payal : "kuch kehne ki jaroorat nahi hai....hum sab samajhte hai...."

Pundir(to himself) : "Arjun thik kehta hai..in ladkiyon ko samajhna kisi ke bass ki baat nahi...aur mere toh bilkul bhi nahi.....aur jab ladki payal ho toh namumkin.."

Payal : "yeh tum apne aapse kya baat kar rahe ho?jaldi hamare saath ganno ke kheton ki aur chalo..aur phir agar dono waha nahi mile to baaki jagah bhi toh khojna hoga.. aur phir hume Raat ki Maha aarti ke pehle utsav sthan par pohochna bhi toh hai....aur phir......"

Pundir (putting his palm over her mouth): "bassssss....ab chalo ganne ke kheton se shuru karte hai."

Payal : "ha ha chalo...samay barbaad karne ki toh aadat hai tumhe.." Pundir smiling and nodding his head.Payal is also smiling secretly.And both of them left for sugarcane fields.
