Ronit Directs ‘Bandini’!!

Ronit Roy, the veteran actor of small screen who plays the lead role of Dharmraj Mahiyvanshi in Balaji's show 'Bandini', has also been directing the show for some time now.


 Sources say that Ronit Roy wanted to turn director for a long time, but no one was taking him seriously in the matter. Ronit had even asked Ekta to give him a chance to direct a show but the Czarina of television was more interested in him as an actor than as a director.

But, when director Santram Verma, who had been directing 'Bandini', was assigned another job by Ekta, and even his replacement Kaushik Ghatak left for greener pastures, Ekta decided to give the reins of direction to Ronit Roy.

Presently, Ronit is not only playing the main lead in the popular Balaji's show but also directing it. Ronit wants to continue with direction even for other producers if and when opportunities come knocking on his door.
