It was a starry night with the who's who of tinsel town making their presence felt. But still there were some who gave it a miss... we take a look at the stars who couldn't make it to the award night.

Anil Kapoor: He found time to go all the way to Los Angeles to attend the Oscars but he couldn't make it to the Filmfare Awards back home in Mumbai. This high handedness not expected from you Mr. Kapoor and that too when rest of the Slumdog Cast was present. Along with Anil, brother Boney and Sri Devi were also missed.
Rani Mukerji gave Filmfare a miss though it was held at the Yash Raj Studios. Also, hotties like Jiah Khan, Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia and Karisma Kapoor went missing.
We missed the hunk Dino Morea and hottie Lara Dutta too.
Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan were missed too. But with Amrita's sangeet party on 1st March and her shaadi on 2nd, their absenteeism is understood.
Even Salman Khan and close friend Govinda chose to keep away.
Tusshar gave Filmfare a miss despite being nominated in the Best supporting category for Golmaal Returns. Other stars of the movie Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and Celina Jaitley were also missing.
Sanjay Dutt - Manyata too gave it miss. Guess Sanjay's political ambitions are keeping him busy!
The Khans - Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan, Sanjay Khan ... all went missing. And the Roshans - Hrithik-Suzaane, Rakesh Roshan too. Feroze Khan's ill health might be the reason here.
We highly missed the presence of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna at the award night. Maybe the Kumars were busy keeping company to Kylie Minogue who's in the city. Oh and btw... Shilpa Shetty was missing too.
Though Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya were present, Jaya Bachchan gave the award night a miss. We couldn't spot Amar Singh too.
Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh too went missing from the award night that their son Ranbir Kapoor was hosting.
Farah Khan, Shirish Kunder, Sajid Khan, Bobby Deol, Harman Baweja, Hema Malini, Tanushree Dutta, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl were some others who missed the starry do.
